"Retrograde World"

A world where over 95% of living vertebrate biomass is allocated to the commodification of reproduction (namely humans and the animals they consume to live), and what remains is on the verge of collective extinction is a retrograde world. Jeff Bezos considers anything else but this a "retrograde" world with "life in stasis" (arguably life working in one of his warehouses aka "fulfillment centers" is the epitomy of "life in stasis"). -Obviously the guy has never once meditated on what qualitatively makes life worth living in terms of the modulation of perception of human beings. There is no figure more illustrative of living in a fixed living system with limits. He believes humans should exist at the level of existential pigs, hogging the sum of the available existent biomass to the exclusion of all other life on earth, the diversity that makes the wonder of life, that we are oh so busy immortalizing right now while we simultaneously destroy it. 

Jeff Bezos's vision is to maintain the capitalist system that made him by having a trillion human beings, without projectiing how to produce the vertebrates they consume off planet (not to mention where he plans to get the f*** tonne of energy he needs to harness in order to produce those, or manufacture substitute food sources). In other words his premise has absolutely zero reality substantiating it, but is A-OK with all the CAFOs such an enterprise is going to take, or whatever, -off planet, sight unseen like they generally are now, of course, -apart from those forced to suffer in proximity. (But we know Jeff Bezos has no problem necessitating a squad of workers to endure perpetual unpleasant worker conditions, or better yet, make it sight unseen with robots, and better yet, synthesize the unsentient protein. -In terms of finding the resources and energy, however, -good luck.)

Earth could be the crown jewel of the system, without industrial processes taking place on it (to even begin to approach his desirous human population figure, the planet would have to be one whopping giant existential CAFO; we'll all have to be off planet just to escape the overwhelming stench. That or, -good luck transferring all that off planet. (You'll notice Bezos has zero reference to agriculture in his utopian visions, but given his forays; it's not like reigning technocrats are actually very conscious of reality, they seem to abstract everything real they happen to get their claws into, -as if it doesn't hurt.)

One has only to examine Bezos' living circumstances to register the utility he sees in a trillion workers with no health insurance who are monitored for pee breaks and so stressed by the pace they pee into bottles (rather than taking pee breaks, good thing his deliveray drivers must practically be all men), -a CEO who prefers to have ambulances stationed outside his warehouses as opposed to providing any air conditioning.

With his employees making $15/hr, "Bezos will 'make' the annual salary of one of Amazon’s newly minted $15/hour employees every 11.5 seconds". From the opposite direction, this is the extreme disparity of exploitation between his own workers and himself that it takes to create one Jeff Bezos. Basically someone already as existentially unconscionable as Jeff Bezos has zero problem with the total commodification of reproduction and all the cruelty embedded in that system to produce the worker/consumer glut his wealth already depends on. His reigning interest is already the continued exponential increase of said existent system. He's so all in he's not even capable of registering anymore if and whether it's existentially possible, or not, let alone what its indigent social and environmental costs are already.

I come from the realm of the existentially sane. They too are real people with names, and they calculate human individual footprint as best can be managed in order to operate and live through this planet with some grounding in reality that won't end up killing it and us. 

It seems readily apparent Bezo's planetary crown jewel would only exist to be enjoyed by the rich like himself, while the rest of humanity subsists on a dreck of cultured protein with monitored pee breaks working the max hours that can humanly be extracted from them; -if not robots, the next best closest thing. Amazon relies on a glut of 1% consumers whose disposable income on Amazon purchases easily runs over and above $500 or a $1000 per month. It relies on the data mining of these customers to target and cultivate their desires to be channeled into unneeded endless consumerism. It relies on workers in one of the most unfulfilling jobs one can imagine running at a collective breakneck pace in Amazon fulfillment centers and delivery systems; -"last mile" delivery, by and large, is privately contracted absent that $15/hr wage. But Amazon's bedrock is an expendable for all intents and purposes practically slave (waged) workforce run by an autocratic state that are designated for the first digital totalitarianism roll out under a social credit system. That this is the existential circumstance of his human productive capacity presents no moral problem to Bezos either, just as child slave labour of the offspring of single mothers (along with the mothers) suffering genetic degeneration while they breed due to poverty conditions (environmental and social) is no problem for China or anyone else, disparities so extreme it is a mockery to describe it by reliance on a globalized class system, which, the farther it goes, the infinitely worse it becomes. This is the hierarchy Bezos wants to expand into the solar system, as if existential balsphemy against all of creation being carried out on Earth due to being overseen by an amoral economy wasn't existential sacrilege enough.... The autocracy, the whole economic system, depends on raw resource exploitation at the bottom. The wholesale stripping of the planet's lungs (boreal forest) to provide for all that last mile packaging doesn't bother Bezos either, but I digress. 

The reality that makes for Amazon's existence is the reality of the civilization Bezos envisions to take over the solar system in unlimited population growth. It relies on the commodifcation of reproduction at every level, from its existing sow crates to dairy cows knee deep in their own excrement in existent CAFOs to the overcrowding of hen farms with hens who can no longer walk under the wieght of their own body mass, and the constant extermination of veal calves to keep the dairy cows milking in perpetuity. It slaughters most males at birth (think veal calves/bulls, roosters). It is concerned with over-reproducing the reproductive productive aspect of all of the species we consume in order to over-reproduce human slave workers so that supply is perpetually outstripping demand to create the maximal conditions for exploitation, in order to to skim and harness their productivity at the level of exploitation and make humanity something harvestable for the sake of achieving wealth inequality.

This brings us to Bezos' other announcement which amounts to an existential joke: his assertion of, think of all the Mozarts and Beethovens we're going to have if we have a trillion people! Let's refer back to that 1% or above perpetual growth rate under capitalism, which in an economy produces its first doubling in 70 years, with an exponential rate of doubling after that. Human population is already sky-rocking in the exponential curve after its first doubling at a growth rate of 1%. In fact it's sky-rocking so much, the math of the growth explosion shows you that there is LITERALLY NO EVOLUTIONARY SELECTION operating on the human race at this point. The effect of commmoditizing human reproduction in order to maximize productivity, or maximize how much humanity can be exploited, which is literally the governance of an amoral economy, means human evolutionary selection is not only entirely not governed, the entire primacy is on quantity at the expense of quality, because the more offspring produced in poverty conditions the more humanity is readily exploitable due to desperation. Arguably, when producing a trillion human beings, your evolutionary selection is zero, and in all probability the entire success of what we've labelled capitalism rests on the societal or cultural attack on all selecting mechanisms in human selection.

Bezos' premise relies on the notion that geniuses are produced at mathematically stable rates over time absent any modulation by social conditions, even ones so large they'll overpopulate the planet to the point of suffocation in a very short period of time. The pretension that an exponential human population growth rate would have no effect on the outcome of the number of geniuses within a population is preposterous. With a social animal such as a human, where nature is in an equal correlation with nurture, a concept which hasn't even begun its grapple with what we've since discovered about epigenetics, this is utter horse-s***, because how we nurture and educate the society could not be more closely related to evolutionary selection than it is with a human being. All you have to do is reflect on the fact that we haven't had a Beethoven or a Mozart since since their time, meaning they were cultivated by the social conditions at that time, and this is how far Bezos has to cast back, casually, for an example to make his point.

This is the sort of fallacious reasoning you'd find in an individual raised on the sort of cultural dreck that passes as offering any ideological substance (what you get in a commericalized culture after capitalism has already concertedly evacuated ideology and culture and offered a vacuous, commercialized replacement, -replacement in the sense that there is nothing else on offer), -namely a single mom kid raised on Star Trek still forming his career trajectory based on Star Trek, which is what Bezos is.

Ergo, the only geniuses capitalism is offering us in real time are commercial vertical monopolist libertarian technocrats who in terms of envisioning society's future are functionally in a state of arrested development and beyond culturally imbecelic to the point they've operated their aggregated human content platforms as collectivized social napalm, with artificial intelligence literally driving and capitalizing on social strife as clickbait. We're not being run by ourselves anymore, and at this point it's for nothing more or less than to harness our attention spans by engaging our emotions via divissiveness. For the ability to harvest human emotions in this manner for profit, our technocrats are lauded, as this is economic success. Basically capitalism's purported geniuses are greed overridden idiots who functionally produce nothing of value but are geniuses at parasitizing human creativity to the point of capitlizing on a nigh infinitude of commercial dreck (the bookstore, commercialized parasitism in terms of its piracy issues) and parasitizing human desire in the interest of capitalizing of mass consumption while creating the most vacuous jobs imaginable, with the ultimate apex, Facebook capitalizing on human social interaction. That's when they aren't unleashing unlimited child porn on their platforms thanks to their utter legal impunity, getting elections thrown with individual data they're harvesting to market while failing to operate proprietary protections, operating for hire in the election of presidents who use Facebook mobs to their advantage and unleash death squads, illegally targeting your children through data harvested targeted advertising, and unleashing facial recognition in cities without any civic consent or legal ratification.

With respects to the 'greed overridden" hyperlinked article above, of Zuckerberg reacting to Elizabeth Warren's tax proposals, this was [also] the most imbecilic response he could have possibly made, as in, don't even get me started on the manifold issues with billionaire philanthropy efforts, including yours bubba, (which was nothing but an effort to data mine the learning processes of children for nineteen corporations without parental consent, including for but not limited to Facebook, Microsoft and Amazon); -you existential twattle. Notice Zuckerberg's philanthropy poster child, as he exists for just this argument, is Bill Gates; -as if the problems associated with his philanthropy, even when just confined to social engineering, aren't a walking talking case study of the problem, starting at tax evasion and mediated self interest that controls what we see, with his entire reformulation of the US education system fed SEME engineered case studies supporting his arguments that were Gates Foundation funded. In the end, it is the cultural nature of society that identifies what traits are "genius" and desirable genius, and people with identifiable attributes of such are acculturated by society into the channels it desires. Bill Gates/Microsoft's patenting trolling history and anti-trust practices passing as good business are what we might identify as f***-over genius, -or he may be genius but this is genius' utility under amoral capitalism. (Note this article that explains how US patent law is now being used to wedge out American business, (so now we ourselves are being subject to the f***-over) starts with, "[Qualcomm] does what Bill Gates did to computer manufacturers".

Regardless of Gates Foundation's wholesale effort to transform/universalize the US public education system (my state was ground zero) and make it test based and world competitive, my children attend a Common Core curriculum IB World Middle School (their graduating diploma's supposed to be good anywhere in the world), where two of the teachers are self-acknowledged functionally illiterate (in a school with only 61 students seats), yet both of these instructors have obviously neven bothered with the effort of shoving their lessons through Grammarly before they inflict them on their students (one of these laughably thinks putting her notes in five colours, and forcing he students to do so, is a learning strategy that doesn't distract from actually learning the notes, while the illiteracy in spelling with the second instructor has actually caused problems Google searching in depth assignments). -A classic case scenario of garbage in, garbage out, with the correction of spelling and essays and even math foisted on parents not instructors, who cannot hope to cover it all (the illiterate math instructor of five colours corrects zero math homework). With the going rates of illiteracy graduating high school in the United States, only amoral capitalism could produce this sort of decades (if not running into centuries) long overall degeneration of a national education systerm. It is a system that doesn't have a snowball's hope in hell of producing a single math/reading genius at a functionary level, -let alone anyone that remotely compares to a Mozart. 

It's not supposed to. It's more geared to creating debt laden human college fodder acclimated to testing, with data mined full learning profiles accompanying their entire learning life, on mandatory computerized testing equipment and materials (provided by Microsoft et al), who can after graduation possess a complete file of test data (accompanied by their psych profiles and all their behavioural and health issues)) that is a private concern and can be sold to the highest college bidder so they can target the students as useful customers. I'm not saying these things are realized, but they have all blipped on the present radar; -namely the issue is the reformation of education as an end-all be-all purely commercial concern, with nothing but a commercial interest outcome in the human fodder it processes as productive citizens, albeit with "productivity" defined by amoral capitalism. 

Ergo, in Bezos' world, the music market is just that, a market; -it is by and large dreck, the age of composers long gone; the potential Beethovens and Mozarts are shunted into warehouse jobs (or infinitely worse) where, like the proverbial tree falling in the forest, they can't and never will exist. How much dreck would you have to surf to find an author of Mozart's or Beethoven's calabre today, if we could even equivocate genius to consider the question, since arguably they haven't existed in a long long time given the demands of the culture to produce immediate gratification upon the first opening sentence? Given that being human is now one in a trillion odds in Bezos' vision, and basically has an equally diminishing estimable value (supply and demand, whether we like it or not, applies to human presence as to any other product in an amoral economy where they are the primary source of profit), this prodigious plummet in visibility or culturation cannot and will not improve genius odds. The chance of even appearing unique or manifesting these traits plummets in correlation to population growth; -you're never even going to get to know they were ever here. The warehouse gives less than a flying f*** about them surviving, let alone thriving, basically the entire gist of the sci-fi series Bezos just intervened to save. 

With an amoral economy, the social mechanism leveraging the entire culture is the desire for low wage mass labour, therefore your entire society is deliberately degenerated in the desire to abrogate human selection, to produce quantity over quality. When your entire economy is dependent on a human population growth rate of 1% or higher, it is motivated, by the math, to abrogate any mechanisms limiting population growth at a sustainable rate, which exists in an inherent, integral relationship to abrogating the mechanisms that refine human selection. This starts at women. Arguably the witch burnings were when it became economic policy to abrogate all social selection on the human species that resided in women, and their are plenty of social markers and indicators of this right up to our present existing culture. This means the entire reign of capitalism has consisted of attacking human genetic stock, starting with independent thought and intelligence, initiating in the form of a gendered massacre of women in possession of these traits. Basically the reigning economic system in charge of culture has been attacking the genetic make-up of humanity the entire time it's been in place already. We have only to examine its concerted attack on the biological nature of women, which is designed to furnish selection based on reciprocity. 

It started this gambit by subjecting women to unlimited reproductive labour as dependents in wageless labour (reproductive slavery of half the human race was capitalism's bedrock) by collectively terrorizing them with the witch burnings and putting their reproductive existence under male control (transition to doctors in hospitals, end of midwives, -every woman atomized under the control of a male wage earner as a dependent without village support, with no custodial control over her children; -with the male wage earner having the legal right to expropriate her children and rape and/or beat her at will whenever he fancied doing it).

**** I'M NOT DONE YET - AND THIS SECTION IS THE KICKER.

In the USA, human reproduction at birth is a fully commoditized concern (just as divorce is fully commodified in the billions of dollars to the misery of both parties, but still effectively tilted for domestically abusive males). Privatized healthcare has succeeded in continually illustrating just how essentially barbarous the commodification of reproduction is by exacting continual casual barbarism on the bodies of women and their offspring. (This full documentary, "The Business of Being Born" is well worth seeing in its entirety, (as is its next clip on pitocin, which is a great way to make a living hell out of childbirth, replete with unecessary complications (including causing more cesareans) and mainly injected during labour for no other reason but to accelerate the birthing process in order to vacate hospital beds so hospitals can be more profitable). -Rate of induced labour in the United States for 2012: 23%.) Witness the C-section rate (running around a third of women the USA), -buttressed by the fact that oscillation in the rate varies wildly between hospitals in the United States (California) purely based on the private hospitals' policies regarding C-sections, -as opposed to existing in any relation to health reasons. C-section is so prevalent it has now introduced itself as a factor in natural selection.

One idly speculates on just how much men's selection of women based on appearance rather than brains or capacity, and the fact that conspicuous consumption now manifests itself as rail thin women with zero body fat as the prevalent beauty marker, has an integral relationship with the prevalence of C-section in reducing pelvic size collectively in women so they're now far more likely to be sliced open for the sake of a birth, and how breath-taking it is that this circumstance is considered normal? This is but one indicator of how commodified women are in the so called first world. Women's commodification-objectification in the first world is a reflector, a social litmus of just how dependent the prevailing culture is on their continued subjection to the commodification of reproduction. (Otherwise put as, does the pelivis width on any of these objectified women on GQ's covers look safe for childbirth to you, or does it in fact skew to what used to most commonly kill women in childbirth; i.e., -for some inexplicable, mystery reason men find viewing women they're more likely to exterminate by impregnating them if they're not otherwise cut open for the sake of childbirth more pleasurable than viewing more normal pelvic range women.) The baby lodging in a too tight pelvic birth canal was probably the greatest mortal danger women faced in childbirth, (-that is, before male doctors got their perpetually unsafe, perpetually unsanitized grubby hands on them and maintained this retrograde practice for some 100 plus years in the face of all contravening evidence, killing the first doctor to say so. (-And, this is what happens when I try to search that factoid by a radical feminist author. -Oops.)) The overall point here is that (western) men's definition of female desirability has manifestly already bifurcated from improving human selection, trending in an opposite direction in this instance; -we need to question and consider why that is. 

In truth the prevailing culture is defined as the utter evacuation of culture; -when society is ruled utterly by the prevailing economy it exists as a cultural vacuum, -as all culture is merely a subject substrate that owes its entire existence to economy's dictate; -witness the existent nature of media concentration in the USA/West, with Disney providing a perfect microcosm, and the consequent dumbing down produced; -a free-willed, critical minded, educated population was never among capitalism's goals, beyond producing enough of a critical mass of a compliant consumer populace. The abject and obvious truth? -Capitalism has never been possessed of any goals for humanity. The reason the prevailing economy is amoral is because it is predicated, first and foremost, on the barbaric exploitation of all life to the extent that is about to kill all of it.

Amazon's margins are so thin that without this current collective population glut of humanity it literally would not exist. 

Let's take a gander at Amazon's customer is always right core idealogy. There's always been a baldly obvious essential problem with it in economic terms, and that was how it was code for the exploitation of human labour, rendered easily by this quote: "I pity the man who wants a coat so cheap that the man or woman who produces the cloth or shapes it into a garment will starve in the process." - Benjamin Harris. This is literally the sum mindset of the Amazon consumer that Bezos is catering to, by precisely this. It is not just the everything store, it is everything in one place without shipping at across the board undercut margins. This valuation of human as consumer and nothing else is literally what killed our planet. By making them always right, we defined the world as merely consumable with that as the only reigning interest, just as we reduced human beings to merely being only consumers. (Kindly register what that means; by its very definition it is the literal inversion of human existence and we call ourselve that; it what the market literaly renders us as every day).

By tailoring the political message solely to cater to consumers in order to lie to them in order to win a election, with consumer analysis being provided on a mass scale by Facebook and Amazon for successful microtargeting at the level where these corporate entities knew each individual consumer better than their own parents could achieve thanks to data harvesting (in real time to boot), we successfuly reverse engineered democracy. -Yes, this consumer is alreays right mentality just stuck a shaft straight through the heart of your democracy, aided and abetted by said technocrats. Bear in mind that the data amassed by both entities is fully capable of this potential at all times in perpetuity, and Cambridge Analytica barely managed to get their grubby paws on a tiny pie slice of the data potential these corporations wield at all times privately with zero accountability at will. 

In short, Bezo's current existence as arguably the ultimate surveillance capitalist: -think Alexa's "always listening" ambient surveillance in every Amazon purchasing household (the existent patents prove this is also what it's for, -Alexa is already working in symbiotic experiments with police forces (as is Ring), as well as being used for warrant information in police cases; -the ambient surveillance aparatus "Ring' (originally designed to keep Amazon packages from being stolen off of doorsteps) has turned into a neighborhood watch snitch system), Amazon's facial recognition program called "Rekognition" (also being marketed to police forces); -the ambition to have private control of as much individual American consumer healthcare data as Amazon cloud services (AWS) can possibly provide to boot; -which is the next Amazon foray; -Amazon has already stated Alexa, Amazon's artificial intelligence, will have integrated access to it, bye-bye Walgreens et al). -Not to mention how he's now making market forays into your voting machines. The health care data foray not only amounts to the final frontier of total information awareness on every Amazon customer; -since humans are as equally harvestable for health problems/dependencies under amoral capitalism as their so called productivity is, it is arguably Amazon's final financial market threshold to control as well. (We can only pray for no more new forays, but that's kind of doubtful.) Providing you have that bedrock of massively disproportionate practically slaves on the supply side of the equation, your consumers can be your dependent class of perpetual over-consumers (they're the most profitable bar none); -that pretty much sums up the existent nature of the United States today, with amoral "health care" as its third largest potential market, -with again commoditized care-giving minimum and below minimum wage earners (vastly women) performing as the grist that keeps all the wheels turning during the atrophying age collapse of the population capitalism has inveitably produced (why feminism was probably even permitted to exist as an ideology today likely has to do with the recognition by our elites that over-reproduction has already max'ed out, and the next progresssion of the capitalist system would inevitably be to ultimately atomize and commoditize caregiving and thereby formalize and codify the ultimate exploitation of women at the bottom rung of human existence), -with no possiblility of wages ever going up because the entire "health" market is subsidized to artficially depress it.

Paradoxically if you begin examining the larger lifestyle changes a family would need to make in order to downsize energy consumption, this flies in the face of commoditizing caregiving outside of the home, or even both parents working outside of the home. A working mother can hardly switch to cloth diapers, for instance, in the effort to save over 120 trees. Menstruating zero waste is not at all easy to do holding a full time job. Home gardening for food and preserves demand a return to full time work in the home. A return to localized markets and self-reliance in manufacture with more localized materials creates these pressures as well. Literally everything we need to do to conserve flies in the face of the present waged labour system's demands for optimization, starting at globalization. We have been deliberately been pared down to bare bone survival so far at this point by the powers that be by design in order to make any prospective lifestyle changes beyond the cosmetic impossible that literally perhaps the last vestige of personal autonomy left to women to refuse this juggernaut is to refuse across the board to breed. (They certainly deserve to be threatened with this en masse.)

Next, add to your considerations Amazon's juggernaut foray into surveillance capitalism is just the first of its ilk. Facebook is at the forefront of facial recognition technology; -this includes the facial recognition of children you are encouraged to share to the site. There is in reality zero oversight into whether Facebook is harvesting facial images from the site already without users' consent (how do you think they are leading in facial recognition technology in the first place, is the Q; -oh yes, you're voluntarily tagging all your friends and loved ones for them). -So Facebook's already done so, apparently, with no one the wiser. Bear in mind facial recognition technology of children was honed by harvesting the faces of children from Flickr without any parental consent. -Consider, also, the concurrent forays of Zuckerberg, Amazon, Microsoft et al to make the data harvesting of children's education without parental consent contingent on schools' accepting their "educational" learning tablets/materials. Consider that Microsoft unleashed live real time facial recognition technology of children without any citizenry consent in India on the pretext of finding missing children, and simultaneously did so in the cloud in Canada. It appears Microsoft somehow inbuilt permission to scan consumers' individual cloud storage (with facial recognition designed to identify children, no less) on their Windows 10 operating system into their purchasing agreement, or this action conducted in Canada should have hit the proverbial privacy fan.

No one even blinked. Well, one of my FB friends blinked (she's now a regularly censored party). She asked, (if not in these words exactly), -Why in hell is my homefeed getting flooded right now with news stories on missing children? -Oh, because that's the power one Bill Gates/Microsoft has to manipulate your newsfeed at will. (You might have noticed that one of the first groups Facebook recruited to censor the public's newsfeeds was a Gates Foundation funded concern, -The Poynter Institute.) If you didn't notice Bill can control your news, you've not been paying attention, as he got away in MSM with being a billion dollar plus DAPL investor when there was a North American boycott of such investors, -and the accusation was lobbed at Trump (at the $100 000 mark, -when he'd already divested). It was patent fake news by a Gates Foundation funded concern, The Guardian, and got echo chambered across liberal social media for months afterwards regardless of being false. It was designed to kill Trump in the last heat of the election.

Cut to the missing children business: this was the only time Microsoft's Outlook customized their newsfeed on a topic for three days; -the topic was missing children. That was what informed me of the operation in India and the operation in Canada. It made my hair stand up. The flagship article on a divorce custody related kidnapping cane from, you guessed it, The Washington Post. Right on cue. This heart strings puller was designed to justify the cloud scanning operation in Canada. It was designed to justify massive prvacy invasion, -as opposed to fixing the gong show that is the Family Court system in the United States that enables, by design, a whole realm of such coercive abuse by domestic abusers. Instead I thought about how beneficial this sort of PR operation, using the socially exploited child victims this capitalist system is in fact designed to produce, how their victimization was made into useful PR fodder in order to socially acclimate society to the roll out of Bezos' Rekognition (Amazon's facial recognition software company) after it had already met with citizen resistance for launching programs with police departments in their cities. The whole agenda was how the roll out of facial recognition coverage in an Indian city without their knowledge and consent was so socially beneficial: it identified and returned to the tune of a 1000 children. As there were no news stories on Canadian outcomes, I'm presuming there weren't any. 

In summation Amazon is just about the worst dystopia one can utilize the information age to possibly achieve, with privatized, comprehensive data harvesting of all its customers on the one side (this in depth consumer profiling of every customer is how Amazon came up with AWS, its total cloud server storage domination), -with total social divestment via tax evasion being the other side of the coin. "Amazon may not contribute to the national coffers, but public funds pour into its own bank accounts", (including for, (of course) the public purchase of Rekognition by police departments). In that sense Amazon has designed itself as the ultimate form of parasitization on human society, existence contingent on the power it wields in "free" human data harvested from the society it ultimately exists to divest, starting with its privacy and personal freedom. The same can be inferred of any internet platform devoid of content that is utterly reliant on the harvesting of freely, voluntarily provided human content (the last commodification of humanity is the commodification of interaction, -this is why DARPA deliberately spun the internet servers and network off into a few select private hands, so as to not run head on into the Fourth Amendment), -used to psychologically profile every individual dumb enough to do so, profiling that in Facebook's hands exceeds what your own spouse can know about you with just 450 or so odd "likes".

Call it late stage capitalism if you will. It was always a parasite on human endeavour, it just needed a whole a lot if it generated artificially by overburdening women, who received no return for their reproductive labour, which lasts from the birth of their children to the death of their elders. It isn't just the successful reverse engineering of democracy that lies in these parasitic platform's existent dangers. It is the successful reverse engineering of society itself, and all its dangers are already viewable on our horizon. They already exist. Amazon/Disney/Google/Apple already depend upon China, and they can, do and will depend on China's social credit system controlling their disenfranchised worker population to produce their captive market as well as produce the cheap labour for endless consumer goods for their large enough dependent consumer population, the one at consumer levels so inexaustible they're killing off the world. Google already cooperated on China's censorship search engine regime just to access its market. Big Tech already does what they're f***ing told (rare earth minerals, anyone?), -when they're not f***ing telling you what to do, -by virtue of achieving total dictate of what you can and can't see. 

The collective manipulation of thought by artificial intellgience is already resplendent in the anonymous censorship performed by Twitter and Facebook via algorithm on countless uncharted numbers of their users every day. You are already subject to constant manipulation of your perception you are entirely unaware of at a level aimed at controlling your thought. Facebook has already conducted live social experiments without users' consent on whether it can make individual users more depressed or not just by manipulating their homefeeds. Google can do the exact same thing by algorithmic control of everyone's search results (and WSJ just broke an investigative story that they do), with no one the wiser. But a given search sure makes it look mighty f***ed on any given day now, search words depending. (I believe the two search words for this were Trump, Washington Post, and no, I was actually looking for something WaPo's propaganda SEME machinations ensure I'll never find.)

Bono co-invested with the "extraordinary" Pierre Omyidar. That's when he's not taking funds in the tune of over $120 million per annum from Bill Gates and Warren Buffett. That's three of the top five wealthiest men on the planet he's rubbing shoulders with, -you know, the five men with the same amount of wealth as the bottom half of the planet. (U2 performed this handy dandy podcast for Bezos' "Alexa", so you can quit pretending this co-mingling doesn't end up artistically whoring his band; --actually this was an unvarnished fact quite a while back.) -Just so you know where Bono's bread gets its butter and who he likes to butter. It's not just your billionaires, it's your surveillance capitalism technocrats. Apparently this lot attracts him.

Meanwhile my disgust at the impacts of their marketing just on the social fabric of my own household, in terms of running profit margins on the vacuuming our children's time in the form of viewing and playing addiction (dopamine), is pretty much absolute. But it's exactly the sort of fractured zombification capitalism seeks as its achievement, its goal for humanity. Welcome to the next chapter of epigenetic effects of an amoral economy and what this may have in store for human natural seleciton, -where the field of experiment is your children's minds and our future as a race is at stake, -behaviourally as well as literallly, atomized ultimately at the level of screen engagement superceding human engagement, the end run on human socialization, already moderated by algorithms at the toddler level.
