How Woke Imperialism sacrificed Canada's democracy on the altar of war-mongering geopolitics

We are presently in quite an interesting confluence of events of that appear disparate and unconnected, but actually do have an acutely serious juncture in world politics, in the forensic examination of the democratic collapse in motion of one NATO ally, -Canada. 

1) Saint Patrick's Day, 2023: For St. Patrick's Day, U2 released "Songs of Surrrender" with a new version of "Walk On (for Ukraine)". On the same day President Zelensky and the ICC announced President Putin's indictment for war crimes, with the warrant issued by a British prosecutor. The president of the ICC is Polish. The arrest warrants are secret. Former Austrian Foreign Minister and international law expert Karin Kneissl commented (rightly) that since Russia is not party to the ICC (nor is the USA, nor Ukraine), the move, while purely symbolic, renders diplomatic solution "nearly impossible". It has predicated the "solution" on slaughter to the last Ukrainian in lieu of negotiation. "We don't support calls for a ceasefire right now," National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said in response to a question by Newsweek. That was US officialdom on St. Patrick's Day: 

U.S. Seeks to Head Off Any Chinese Call for Cease-Fire in Ukraine - WSJ

For stating a death toll for his battalion (100,000 dead, 400,000 wounded) in the Washington Post, Lt. Col. Anatolii "Kupol" Kozel was made to resign. (This re-edit put the death toll at 100,000 service members at the end of November.) Quite the logic conflict on U2's part to proffer Liberal tears in terms of performing "Mothers of the Disappeared" with Antytila as an expression of sympathy for the Ukrainian war dead last month, while simultaneously throwing their full public relations weight on the diplomatic hot button that insures the Ukrainians will go on dying (and the mothers will go on losing) thanks to no prospect of a peaceful resolution. Performative politics are paramount in the blood rite to obscure the blood. Since this takes a bit of contextualization, read on. 

"They want peace, but not without freedom." 

They really should examine Canada to register what allyship means. It means the very opposite of living in "dignity", "decency" or "confronting domination and darkness". It means being collaterally sacrificed by being deliberately sociologically manipulated and consumed from the inside out. (U2's brand of politicized performance art played an active role in that.) And that's after having already totalled your living environment for resource export. 

"Don't give up" has been equivocated by Bono throwing his public weight on the diplomatic hot button with "lose to the last Ukrainian". 

Don't get me wrong, this is all very sophisticated and quite the wonderful participatory publicity roll-out for an album. The point to belabouring one's self apparently so pointlessly in dissecting Bono/U2's PR coordinated appearances, statements and dates is to illustrate the quiet part out loud that deliberately isn't being stated at all but is taking place by design in the receptive minds of every audience member participant through association. That too is quite sophisticated. The policital content associated however is not, and deserves dismemberment. This part is also by design fully participatory for the participants. 

On St. Patrick's Day 2022, Bono penned a poem about Zelensky for Nancy Pelosi to read at the White House's "Friends of Ireland" annual luncheon (apparently Bono pens a limerick for Pelosi for this event every year (she's a Slava Ukraini gal); -this one was publicized for the first time on U2's Twitter account. It invoked Zelensky as a modern day St. Patrick, declaring him a saint. This event from last year informs U2's choice of release date for "Walk On (for Ukraine)". Given U2's prior public support for Zelensky was coordinated in terms of this present announcement, which included Bono lying about WWII in order to declare Putin should be regime changed by his own population at Zelensky's invite/behest, it appears to have informed the choice of announcement date for Zelensky and the ICC as well, and vise versa. In that aspect, U2 politically shilled Ireland's most famed national holiday for the sake of Ukraine, equivocating the Irish Famine, the Troubles and everything beyond and between with Ukraine's war today. 

 

U2 appeared in Brixton with the Ukrainian band Antytila to perform "Mothers of the Disappeared" on February 26th. (The screenshot of the full text is from a U2 official YouTube short where U2 announced the Brixton performance.) The announcement concluded before the song lyrics with "Slava Ukraini", which historically was a Ukrainian fascist slogan of the OUN/UPA during WWII and prior. The St. Patrick's Day release "Walk On (for Ukraine)" was first performed by Bono and Edge in a Kiev subway concert with the same band this past May, 2022. They were there to pre-empt May 9th: "Victory Day over Nazism in World War II" was established as a Ukrainian state holiday on April 9, 2015. It is a deliberate rebranding of Russia's Victory Day on May 9th, celebrating the Soviet Union's WWII victory over Germany. The Kiev underground concert concluded with "Slava Ukraini".

It is worth examining the larger lexicon of U2's Ukrainian support, which harks back to their 2017 Joshua Tree world tour, where in Canada they hailed Chrystia Freeland, a Liberal politician who had just been inaugerated Canada's foreign minister as a leading feminist, to help extinguish the wave of independent press this posting caused revealing her Ukrainian Nazi background. 

Above: Chrystia Freeland and Mary Robinson (of the Richard Branson and Purpose B Team) highlighted in U2's "Herstory" montage for "Ultraviolet". Women who serve empire are interwoven with radical feminists in order to reframe what constitutes feminism. Venues such as this serve as unique functions for achieving conformity and acquiescence utilizing the psychology of crowds. This happened for the only Canada dates: Vancouver, May 12 2017 and Toronto, June 23 2017, where Chrystia Freeland is an MP for University-Rosedale. #SoftPower

Here the Prime Minister of Canada opens and closes his speech with "Slava Ukraini", leading the same chant at a rally in support of Ukraine in Toronto (-with the audience responding "Heroiam Slava"), two days prior to U2's appearance with Antytila, for the first year anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine (2/24/23). 

"Slava Ukraini -> "Heroiam Slava" happens at said rally after every one of the speeches either voluntarily or involuntarily, with either the speakers initiating the chant themselves or someone by the camera person initiating it if the speaker doesn't, after every speech. (The only time this does not happen is for the sole First Nations speaker. It appears the young man officiating (at 29:40) is responsible for insuring this takes place, as at the conclusion of the rally at 32:52.) Witness the conclusion of the speech of Petro Schturyn, head of UCC Toronto (Ukrainian Canadian Congress) at 28:50, and the national head of the UCC, Alexandra Chyczij, at 25:20. But it concludes every speech either way. For February 25th, USA did the same:

"Also appearing on stage [at the US rally] was Paul Grod, president of the Ukrainian World Congress. Grod has made a career out of defending the legacy of Nazi collaborators, and even once petitioned the Canadian government to officially recognize the genocidal Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, or OUN, as ‘designated resistance fighters.' This designation would have funneled Canadian tax dollars directly into the pension accounts of Nazi collaborators."

For the record, Trudeau is a "Slava Ukraini" declarant on a regular basis, including on his official Twitter (see below), and has been since 2017. Granted this has been normalized, but:

The same day timing of U2's May 2022 PR performance at a Kiev subway with President Zelensky's meeting with the Canadian government trifecta of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Finance Minister/Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland and Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly (Freeland's replacement in this post) was more than a little eye-brow cocking since U2 ran PR cover lauding Chrystia Freeland with their big screen within two months of news of her Nazi background hitting Canada's national consciousness by way of the Globe and Mail (March 2017). The Globe and Mail's limited hang-out disclosure was stage purely in order to unleash Freeland's gaslight threat to the entire country not to ever be caught airing such "Russian disinformation": -the Globe and Fail's source document was penned by Chrystia Freeland's historian uncle in 1996, she had editorial oversight over the history, along with two of her aunts who were the Ukrainian Nazi propagandist's daughters. This cut two ways, it was proof Chrystia Freeland knew her grandfather's background, but circumscribed the revelation in the safest possible terms. This, while original sources who broke the story were attacked and buried in what effectively amounted to a coordinated cross border source flak operation on independent media, using the US confected media psyop that was Russiagate. This was in coordination with a very serious Canada wide full spectrum media reprisal, where Chrystia Freeland threatened that any purveyors of this information were either assets spreading malign Russian disinformation in order to attack Canada's functioning democracy for its foreign policy position on Ukraine, or unwitting dupes of the same. The problem is, it was true, and she had glorified him throughout her career while omitting and concealing what she knew to be the truth. 

Post parental divorce, Chrystia Freeland's grandfather took over the mentor vacuum as a substitute father figure from when she was nine years old; -during WWII, he was responsible for the largest Nazi Ukrainian language newspaper, whose distribution realm was the entire Nazi occupation wherever the occupied spoke Ukrainian. Under his tutelage, Chrystia Freeland was contributing to his project to erase the fascist, murderous elements of Ukraine's revolutionary history in the form of the Encyclopedia of Ukraine by the time she was eighteen (he'd originally launched the project in Switzerland). In Canada this historical revision project was bankrolled by the Canadian Federal government by being launched  through the University of Alberta. The University of Alberta's Chancellor during this period (he was also involved in the university's board of governors and its senate before that), was Peter Savaryn. He was former Galician SS. (Sanders) He was also vice-president of the Alberta Progressive Conservative Party (38:30), who were the provincial government of Alberta for forty years, (the PC Party being the equivalent of the Republican Party in the US). He went on to receive the Order of Canada for multiculturalism. (Alex Boykowich, who made public his discovery of Chrystia Freeland's grandfather, Michael Chomiak in the Alberta Archive (that ultimately went on to hit the proverbial media fan) asserts the same.)

Chrystia Freeland was the only Canadian politician U2 endorsed in this manner (Joni Mitchell was another) on their Joshua Tree World Tour 2017. What U2 fan is going to believe that U2 would have done this, if her Nazi heritage wasn't "Russian disinformation"? U2's bona fides worked in "good cop/bad cop" tandem with the full spectrum Canadian media reprisal, which in no small part was co-orchestrated by the Canadian government. -That Canada had Ukrainian Nazi monuments to deface hit the national consciousness fan a month later, so U2's de facto endorsement of Freeland's then current defense is offence attack of labelling the truth about her background "Russian disinformation" performed double duty on the matter of Canadian Ukrainian Nazi/ultranationalist momuments simultaneously, as Canada's Federal government mobilized an across the board media refutation, claiming their very existence to be "Russian disinformation". 

More on the psyop nature of U2's world tour later, but the most fundamental crossover the tour was performing worldwide was to combine a proffered religious or spiritual state with national and political ideology in the context of American exceptionalism; -Bono repeatedly claimed the audience were attending church while the entire set was a fomulaic obeisance to America, which in terms of suborning church to the state is the most fundamental tenet of that vein and nature of fascism. The political ideology espoused was partisan, as in emanating solely from the DNC, while accosting Trump as proximate to the Devil incarnate, framing political affiliation in terms of holiness in a deliberate malformation equated with ideological purity. U2's 30 year anniversary Joshua Tree tour was so extensive it covered Europe, South America, and had a fourth leg in Oceania, with the set and formula being nigh completely unchanged.

Bono says existence of UN, EU and NATO are threatened: 'What they've achieved is at risk" -The AP - 7/3/18

The willingness to opportunistically invert Christian religious elements to promote a war is something Bono and Pelosi have in common, here she hijacks the Gospel of Matthew, asserting feeding the poor means arming Ukraine to the tune of a $40 billion arms binge for the US military industrial complex. 

Bono reiterated his personal hijack of his faith for support of a geopolitical agenda a third time during his book tour in December. At Washington National Cathedral (the last church Martin Luther King Jr. spoke at before his assassination), Bono exhorted the audience to "Hallelujah" and "Amen" Zelensky repeatedly; -his segue into Russia begins at 1:11:00; -here he asserts a NGO of journalists is going to indict Russian cruise missile operators targeting civilian areas for war crimes, which seemed "off" at the time given neither Russia, Ukraine nor the United States are signatories of the ICC. (Unfortunately for Bono, the apartment at Dnipro, the civilian deaths cause celebre at the time, was described by a Ukrainian Minister as the result of a Russian missile being indiscriminately intercepted by a Ukrainian missile.) At 1:12:45 Bono calls Zelensky "Winston Churchill with an iPhone"; -at 1:13:50 Bono says "Can we just say 'Hallelujah' and 'Amen' to Zelensky and the Ukrainian people?" -He gets the repeated "Amen" - "So be it". -There's a difference. Whether instinct or understanding, the audience were either caught off guard or didn't respond with "Hallelujah". 

This was an especial absurdity given the man Bono was exhorting Godly praise for in a house of God was responsible for attacking the Church:

"[The] SBU has been carrying out raids on hundreds of churches and monasteries belonging to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), which falls under the patriarchate of its war-supporting Russian wing (though nearly three hundred Russian Orthodox clergy have condemned the war). Dozens of the UOC’s clergy have been either sanctioned or are being criminally investigated, even as the church has declared independence from Moscow, condemned the war, and supported Ukrainian forces. A draft bill introduced in December to ban the UOC and ensure Ukraine’s “spiritual independence,” in Zelensky’s words, caused an uproar." - The State of Ukrainian Democracy is Not Strong - Jacobin

This included a raid on "one of the holiest sites for Orthodox Christians" the month prior.

5:45: “In the past forty-five plus years there have been few churches, cathedrals, even denominations who have done more to share the essence of the Gospel with succeeding generations than U2. Never overtly, often with great subtlety, always with poetic beauty, Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen have managed to speak about the Holy One while avoiding the pitfalls of organized religion”… “Of course all music has the capacity to be a vehicle for the holy, but U2’s music has consistently been that vehicle. Just ask any of the thousands of young people who have taken part not just in the Eucharist but in the U2charist as it came to be known”. - The Very Rev. Randall Marshall Hollerith, Dean of Washington National Cathedral

I beg to differ. U2's 2017 tour prosyletized precisely the biggest pitfall organized religion ever fell for as the Roman Catholic Church:

"Medieval Europe’s analogue to America’s New Cold War against China and Russia was the Great Schism in 1054. Demanding unipolar control over Christendom, Leo IX excommunicated the Orthodox Church centered in Constantinople and the entire Christian population that belonged to it. A single bishopric, Rome, cut itself off from the entire Christian world of the time, including the ancient Patriarchates of Alexandria, Antioch, Constantinople and Jerusalem.

This break-away created a political problem for Roman diplomacy: How to hold all the Western European kingdoms under its control and claim the right for financial subsidy from them. That aim required subordinating secular kings to papal religious authority. In 1074, Gregory VII, Hildebrand, announced 27 Papal Dictates outlining the administrative strategy for Rome to lock in its power over Europe. 

These papal demands are in striking parallel to today’s U.S. diplomacy. In both cases military and worldly interests require a sublimation in the form of an ideological crusading spirit to cement the sense of solidarity that any system of imperial domination requires. The logic is timeless and universal.

The Papal Dictates were radical in two major ways. First of all, they elevated the bishop of Rome above all other bishoprics, creating the modern papacy. Clause 3 ruled that the pope alone had the power of investiture to appoint bishops or to depose or reinstate them. Reinforcing this, Clause 25 gave the right of appointing (or deposing) bishops to the pope, not to local rulers. And Clause 12 gave the pope the right to depose emperors, following Clause 9, obliging 'all princes to kiss the feet of the Pope alone' in order to be deemed legitimate rulers."

At Washington National Cathedral at the 50:00 mark, Bono made the most of his singular opportunity by expounding on a verse of ACDC's "Highway to Hell" as a great profundity. It could not do without the effort to humanize and personalize pathological liar "mushroom cloud" Condeleeza Rice, who with this statement joined the cold calculus ranks of "the price was worth it", -inflicted on the whole of Europe. (In all it might have been a grave roll for Vietnam War opposing MLK.) The New York Times had announced that the USA wanted Chrystia Freeland, the grandchild of a Ukrainian Nazi propagandist, as NATO's next secretary general a month earlier. 

In confering sainthood on a politician on the pretext his leadership is the speartip in a war that is an existential battle for light and freedom (or alternatively praising God for a head of state/nation state inside a church with a usage that invokes that these elements are of such a God endowed nobility of purpose they are participating in God, and they are worthy of these phrases being addressed to them), Bono again deliberately crossed the wires between church and state in a manner that is fascist in basic principle (-and sacrilege to the faith: "Thou shalt not have no other gods before Me" is another order of magnitude when you get others to do it; -for the 2017 world tour this was scaled in the millions); to make it simple, should we be praising God for Zelensky, or praising Zelensky/Ukraine with a benediction addressed to God, implying they're God sent? Is that what a church is for?

With "Walk On (for Ukraine)" being released a year to the day Bono was of such pretension as to invoke canonizing Zelensky as a poetic device, he is deliberately attaching this release to his having sacralized Zelensky using Ireland's most famous saint a year earlier. The internet was having none of it BTW, with this riposte of a meme circulating within 24 hours of Bono's Saint Patrick's Day poem:

The first time the Ukraine dedicated version of "Walk On" was performed in Kiev, Bono appeared on SkyNews. Alleging that this was "one man's war", Bono declared that he expected and trusted the youth of Russia to perform a color revolution regime change deposing Putin (0:44). To make this demand for a coup sufficiently fulfill his simplistic good vs. evil paradigm of humanitarian appeal, Bono presaged the necessitated regime change assertion with a breathtaking lie about WWII history. It was a jaw dropping act of historical revisionism, erasing Ukraine's UPA/OUN participation in the Holocaust (0:31): "[H]ow many Ukrainians died fighting fascism? Fighting the Nazis? Nearly 8 million people died fighting fascists. And then to be called fascists, it's just ridiculous."

This announcement must come as an astonishing surprise for the BBC, and several others, I might add, though lately Bono and the BBC are on point (Bono's sentimental excess actually exceeds the BBC's propaganda quotient). Should we feel sorry that Bono, likely one of the most PR handled indiviuals on earth, remains so gullible as to quote Zelensky, a man responsible for serially spouting lies in an attempt to start WWIII (with a Pandora Papers problem to boot):

"Hours before President Putin’s February 24 speech declaring de-nazification as the goal of Russian operations, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky 'asked how a people who lost eight million of its citizens fighting Nazis could support Nazism,' according to the BBC." - "How Ukraine's Jewish President Zelensky made peace with the neo-Nazi paramilitaries on the front lines of war with Russia" - The Grayzone -an article that is a sound repudiation of the petard "but Zelensky is Jewish"

A cursory review of death toll figures from WWII is enough to know that Bono's humanitarian appeal sound bite is false: 8.66 million was the total death toll for the USSR's army. Given Russia/USSR suffered the highest mortality rates both army and civilian, and the vast bulk of Ukrainians who would have resisted the Nazis would have served in USSR's army, the figure is impossible. (I go into further depth here if needful.) Bono's statement performed the same abortive function on history that Chrystia Freeland dedicated her early years to under the tutelage of her Nazi collaborator grandfather. In other words according to actual death toll figures for Ukraine in WWII (maximum citation 6.7 million), nearly a full quarter of the Ukrainian total death toll in WWII was the Jews Ukrainian collaborators mass murdered themselves, which doesn't count as dying to fight fascists when they were fascist collaborators to such an extent even Chrystia Freeland's historian uncle asserts they were responsible for one quarter of the Jews murdered during the Holocaust. They were reputedly worse than the Nazis themselves, they started sooner.

“Western media have not been presenting their readers and viewers meaningful accounts of what has been going on,” says Baysha. “Western journalists overwhelmingly take Zelensky’s words at face value.” - Jacobin

This was so unreserved in terms of stenography that during the exact same month Bono was stupid enough to parrot Zelensky, Ukrainain parliament fired the Ukraine Commissioner of Human Rights for her multiple of falsehoods about graphic rapes commited by Russian armed forces, including of infants and children. Ukraine had perfected "atrocity propaganda" so ludicrous in scope that even Ukrainian parliament realized the credibility issues and cut its losses. 

Oops.

Einsatzgruppen: The Nazi Death Squads

I have summarized this documentary series in terms of how it touches upon the topic of how Ukraine collaborated with the Nazis in pogroms and massacres (Lviv, Babi Yar) here. Here's a nice little summary of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. (Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand makes routine announcements on Canada's NATO assistance and military training actions inside these NATO allies.) If you're like Bono, you might appreciate this glimpse of reality. It appears resistance activites by Ukrainians were not a serious impediment to the Nazi occupation considering the exhumation and mass burnings of the mass graves to conceal the "Holocaust by Bullets" went on in Ukraine without a hitch 1943-44. The UPA under the command of Roman Shukevych was preoccupied by that point with the Wolyn massacres (>100,000 massacred Polish civilians (and remaining Jews)):

"[Roman Shukhevych's] OUN-dominated military formation served in German uniform, and its soldiers participated in the brutal Lviv pogrom. In 1942, Shukhevych commanded the Schutzmannschaft Battalion 201, a Ukrainian auxiliary police formation serving under Heinrich Himmler’s Higher SS and Police Leader (Höhere SS- und Polizeiführer, HSSPF) which carried out brutal pacification operations in Belarus. From 1943, after defecting German service, he served as supreme commander of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), which carried out systematic massacres of Polish and Jewish civilians."

Russia's 'de-Nazification' lie and the whitewash of Roman Shukeyvich- The Times of Israel 

As of 2017 Lviv began holding festivities dedicated to Roman Shukeyvich, who was known for overseeing the pogroms that initially killed 6000 Jews in Lviv. Hundreds of Ukrainians marched commemorating their national hero, Stepan Bandera, the month before the onset of the war.

Why did Roman Shukeyvich hit the international airwaves November 2022 in the above? Because a leftist journalist in Canada was on trial for vandalism for defacing Roman Shukeyvich's monument in Edmonton with reality. The article mentions several such defacements. Although not identified in the above article, one of these monuments, a granite slab dedicated to the Ukrainian Galician Division of the Waffen-SS, is in Oakville, Ontario. While many statues of Canadian government historical founders and figures have been removed for far less, or publicly torn down without recrimination (Queen Victoria was ripped down by BLM protesters on the lawn of the Manitoba provincial legislature in front of passive commissioners), all of the Ukrainian Nazi/Nazi collaborator monuments within Canada remain, their vandalism meriting considered charges for hate crimes. 

Indeed Global Affairs Canada sprung in to action to defend the UPA/OUN/Ukrainian SS within its own borders when the Russian Embassy began tweeting image locations of Ukrainian Nazi monuments in Canada. The Privy Council Office and the Prime Minister’s Office of Canada exerted all their pressure of authority to demand a public PR counter offensive where the Russian Embassy's tweets were labeled "disinformation". In Canada there is more incentive and less recrimination for burning down 69 churches than there is to remove Nazi monuments at the institutional level of governance. The Government of Canada denied their very existence as "Russian disinformation". 

In another SkyNews clip Bono pulled the Mayor of Borodyanka's daughter onscreen thanking her for bearing witness, clearly one of Zelensky's referred tour guides. Mayoralty in Ukraine can be a terminal vocation:

Kiev officially endorses assassinating Ukrainian mayors for negotiating with Russia - "One Less Traitor": Zelensky oversees campaign of assassination, kidnapping and torture of political opposition - The Grayzone

When the OPZZh succeeded in the mayoral election for Zelensky's hometown, he was shot as well. Zelensky then proceeded to make the opposition party illegal. His position on the leader of the Ukrainian ultranationalist movement instrumental to the murder of over 1.5 million Jews:

"Stepan Bandera is a hero for a certain part of Ukrainians, and this is a normal and cool thing. He was one of those who defended the freedom of Ukraine."

Zelensky's event tours have ratcheted up a notch, with Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin recently joining Zelensky to attend the funeral of Ukrainian serviceman Dmytro Kotsiubailo, the "fallen Hero of Bakmuht". Missing from all this is that "Zelensky awarded Right Sector commander Dmytro Kotsyubaylo the 'Hero of Ukraine' commendation. [Zelensky commended him for his service against his own countrymen since 2014.] Known as “Da Vinci,” Kosyubaylo keeps a pet wolf in his frontline base, and likes to joke to visiting reporters that his fighters 'feed it the bones of Russian-speaking children.'" - Grayzone citing the New York Times 

After Borodyanka, Bono and The Edge then proceeded to Kiev, where they "were joined at the Khreschatyk metro station by the Ukrainian singer Taras Topolia" from Antytila.

Vitali Klitchsko is the present Mayor of Kiev. During his tenure city center streets in Kiev have been renamed for Stepan Bandera and Roman Shukeyvich at his personal insistence. (Here is another.) In the article noting this (English translation), he is pictured February 7, 2014 with "F*** the EU" and "Yats is the guy" Victoria Nuland, "Yats" himself, and neoNazi Svoboda Party leader Oleh Tyahnybok. "Although Klitschko was one of the original leaders of the Maidan demonstrations, Zelensky apparently now regards him as an annoying rival, since the Kiev mayor was a close ally of former president Poroshenko." - CATO Institute (Twitter clip of Vitali at Maidan) While above his jurisdiction, within months of his becoming mayor, the chief of police appointed for the Kiev oblast (region) was a former deputy commander of Azov Battalion from the eastern front, as well as a leading figure in the neoNazi group Patriots of Ukraine. This, however, is definitely within his purview:

Canada's involvement in the Ukraine 2014 coup was not insubstantial. Chrystia Freeland was there personally as a member of the Liberal Party. (Curiously the archive of this page is subject to a case or white out.) The Liberal party page that announces this has her pictured meeting Vitali Klitchsko, who in the immediate wake of the Maidan coup became Mayor of Kiev. 

Cut to U2 in May, 2022, and at that exact same time Bono and the Edge were performing their underground concert in Kiev, Chrystia Freeland and Justin Trudeau were meeting with Zelensky. At the subsequent press conference, Trudeau announced aid to Ukraine, and that Canada would be sanctioning 40 Russian individuals and five "entities". They also participated in a virtual meeting with the G7 to augment Russian sanctions, upon which the G7 issued a joint statement as per the same. The following month (6/27/22) on the same day as his G7 summit, Prime Minister Trudeau announced Canada's sanctions policy would now target individual Ukrainians.

It seems reasonable to surmise Freeland was meeting with Zelensky (involved as it was with the G7 initiatives in May as per the same) in order to break ground on sanctioning individual Ukrainians deemed guilty of wrong think, actions she'd recently perfected in the extra-judicial seizure of hundreds of Canadians' back accounts for supporting the Freedom Convoy February 2022, which would have been completely illegal had the Federal government not invoked the legal Canadian equivalent of martial law in a blanket removal of Canadian civil rights called the Emergency Measures Act over the entire entire citizenry in order to remove 300 parked semi trucks in Ottawa. The topic in May was expanding Canada's sanctions regime in a meeting with the G7 already, a Canadian implemented sanctions program which was expanded to officially target individual Ukrainians with the next G7 non-virtual summit the following month. For the same junket, Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs claimed "Ukraine is fighting an existential war for all democracies", rather priceless. In order "to suffocate the Putin regime", she used May 9 to announce Canada would be sanctioning 1500 Russian "oligarchs" and their familes.  

That these measures were perfected domestically on a non-violent protest and then advanced for further illegal usage abroad is indicated by this April policy announcement by the same Minister. In other words, prior to the first May announcement of mass sanctions on foreign individuals (which was officially expanded in June to target Ukrainians domestically in their own country), the Canadian government announced they already planned to illegally expropriate and divert any sanctioned foreign entity's funds to aid Ukraine, which clearly is the domain of the Canadian Finance Minister. So basically Zelensky and Canada's representive were conspiring to unilaterally rob targeted Ukrainians domestically absent due process, after Freeland was accused by self-declared single mothers on the west coast of freezing their accounts over a $20 donation to the Freedom Convoy. 

These sanctions are ongoing.

Given it was Chrystia Freeland who personally intervened on Petro Poroshenko's behalf when he returned from exile to Ukraine on January 17th and insured that he was not arrested by Zelensky's administration, it is assumed the identities of left wing individuals worthy of bank account seizure will come in no small part from Freeland herself. It bears registering that the Canadian government has no legal authority or capacity to do this to Ukrainians outside its own borders, so the real consideration is, how would it be possible for that to occur? The logical conclusion is that it is a matter of Zelensky taking orders from Freeland and implementing bank account seizures accordingly. How exactly does the Canadian government have the capacity to financially embargo individuals and entities based in Belarus and have that be of financial impact? 

So U2's tear jerk appeal of the subway concert for Ukrainians fighting for freedom was performing PR cover for fascist implementation behind the scenes that for Ukrainians will prove anything but free. The chorus as per regime change being the goal of the prolonging the war, combined with sanction is neoliberal consensus: "Regime change in Moscow 'definitely' the goal", Joly says, as Canada bans Russian steel, aluminum imports - The National Post

On the same day The Edge and Bono made their second appearance with the Ukrainian band Antytila February 26th, 2023, Justin Trudeau tweeted this press release commemorating Fedruary 26, 2014:

An interesting disappearance of democratic process given the referendum result of Crimea itself, let alone history (it's all a matter of perspective), let alone what caused the referendum to secede. This is a holiday confected in the same period as the May 9th one (2015), post Maidan coup, with this one commemorating the coup itself. It is an understatement to notice U2's handlers are picking dates at this point, when they're coordinating with Zelensky over a year out. It goes without saying they know well enough to avoid others newly inaugerated post Maidan coup, October 14th (which celebrates the inception of the UPA), and January 1st, Stepan Bandera's birthday. 

Two days before it was Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs shuffle (who replaced Freeland in the post). ("No option but victory for Ukraine.")  Yesterday it was the Minister of Defense shuffle.(Part of the tank chorus brigade, she visited Ukraine in January.) For the one year anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine (2/24/23) both the PM and the opposition leader (10:03) made their appearances with a roster of Canadian political dignitaries at a rally supporting Ukraine, as did the Minister of Defense. For good reason. 

Notable about Canada's Minister of Defense is that she is the MP for Oakville Ontario, home to a Ukrainian Nazi SS monument, specifically one the Prime Minister's office scrambled to officially lie about and declare disinformation in 2017 when the Russian Embassy tweeted about it. In the $240 billion of undeclared Covid relief monies administered by the grandchild of a Ukrainian Nazi collaborator/Finance Minister of Canada, Anand's spouse's Covid testing company happened to receive $170 million. They are responsible for cross border testing between Canada and the United States for multiple provinces. She was shuffled to MoD from Public Services October 26, 2021. As if to create a circumstantial frieze of just how compatible Nazi affinity is with Trudeau's woke progressivism, this is Oakville's other current claim to fame. A whole new twist on intersectionality. 

That Canada's overseen by a Deputy Prime Minister Ukrainian Nazi descendent who's worn two hats while presiding over two other cabinet posts simultaneously (four cabinet posts in total) and voila, Canada's dignitaries are honouring Holocaust genocidaires in Ukraine for the first time in history, is not what we call a stretch. Nor was Canada's incitement that Ukraine should join NATO while Russia was amassing troops on Ukraine's border (again a month before the war), still crossing Putin's red line with utter impunity. When Freeland got her launch in Trudeau's cabinet as Foreign Minister, she prompted Canadian army advisors and arms be sent to Ukraine (2016 - same year) multiple times, which has resulted the first internal investigation of Canadian armed forces for training and arming neo-Nazis (and possibly war criminals). The outcome was a flacid cover up. Since their subsequent integration into the Ukrainian armed forces, now it's the norm. Since Freeland's advent, Ukraine has permeated the Canadian national news and consciousness from coast to coast in every backwater with unremitting, unquestioned support before and during the war. (Google search "Ukraine" and "Lake Cowichan Gazette" to get a sense of just how blanket this coverage is.)

"In some cases, the narrative adopted by a country has been developed during the Cold War by activists in their respective diasporas. These expat communities are strongly influenced by radical nationalists, many with a history of collaboration during World War II, who fled to escape prosecution by the Communists. Thus the Ukrainian community in Canada has had a significant influence on the Holocaust narrative adopted in Kyiv [emphasis mine], and actively fought against the efforts of the Canadian government to prosecute Shoah perpetrators who emigrated to Canada. Ukrainians constituted one of the most numerous and politically organized ethnic communities in Canada; their vociferous opposition to denaturalization and deportation is a key factor in the abysmal failure of the Canadian government to successfully deport alleged Nazi criminals.

In Canada, however, the glorification of Shukhevych had begun long before the demise of the Soviet Union. The Edmonton monument lately in the headlines was erected in 1973 by the League for the Liberation of Ukraine, a front organization of the Bandera wing of the OUN, partially funded by Canadian taxpayers as part of the Canadian policies of multiculturalism, introduced by Liberal PM Pierre Trudeau in 1971. Yes indeed. But according to Richard Sanders, funding and founding of this nature by the Canadian government began even before WWII. In 1940 under the guise of multiculturalism, Canada created and funded the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) as an umbrella cover organization for the Ukrainian OUN diaspora (and the UPA/Nazi Galicien SS post WWII diaspora) in order to overwhelm and destroy Canada's very politically active agrarian left in the Ukrainian strain, an agrarian left which proved so politically effective in the broader varietal that it was responsible for Canada achieving universal healthcare, thanks the province of Saskatchewan in the 1960's. The present Prime Minister's father was maintaining a tradition that stretches back to when the Canadian goverment, under the auspices of a Hitlerphile Liberal Prime Minister, deliberately imported 2000 Ukrainian SS POWs absent any background checks per war crimes post WWII at Britain's behest.

MI6 argued, Bandera’s group was ‘the strongest Ukrainian organization abroad, is deemed competent to train party cadres, [and] build a morally and politically healthy organization…’ An early 1954 MI6 summary noted that,

the operational aspect of this [British] collaboration [with Bandera] was developing satisfactorily. Gradually a more complete control was obtained over infiltration operations…

It dictates the policies of every vying political party in Canada from the Conservatives to the leadership of the Greens. It extends to a Canadian government Commission of Inquiry on War Criminals cover up of the Galicia SS conducted by Justice Deschênes in 1986, including the massacre at Huta Pieniacka. It extended to Justin Trudeau's cabinet elevation of Chrystia Freeland to Foreign Minister, followed by elevating her to deputy Prime Minister simultaneously, followed by transfer to Finance Minister while Deputy Prime Minister simultaneously, which has proven to have far reaching damage on the Canadian economy and functioning democracy.

3) Seymour Hersh has been forced to self publish his bombshell that the US sabotaged the Nordsteam pipeline with the assistance of Norway, which makes mention that the current NATO secretary general, Jens Stoltenberg, was a CIA informant during the Vietnam war while his father was Norway's Defense Minister (6:18), conveniently escaping arrest, unlike his fellow antiwar protesters.

4) WEF 2023, Davos, Switzerland: Jens Stoltenberg informed the world that weapons are the way to peace in Ukraine (19:05), with Chrystia Freeland seated on the panel on Stoltenberg's stage left, after she'd been crowned as the United States' pick for the next NATO Secretary General by the New York Times in November 2022. Significantly this NYT article was designed to defuse the main reason for her poor selection as a candidate, namely that her grandfather was a Ukrainian "ultranationalist":

Significantly the source article NYT relies on with respects to Chrystia Freeland's background is an article by the Tablet:

Here we learn Canada is home to the largest Ukrainian diaspora outstide of Russia. More pertinently it is notable that the only sourcing on her grandfather's background that Tablet provides is a 1996 paper written by Chrystia Freeland's uncle, a paper subject not only to her editorial oversight (See Footnote 1), but two of her aunts (Natalka is the Ukrainian diminutive of Natalya), both daughters of said Ukrainian "ultranationalist" -> "Nazi collaborationist", one being Himka's wife. 

That NYT sources the family itself for historical background can be regarded in two ways, either it is "horse's mouth" authentic, or the ultimate limited hangout, but what it it most certainly is, is investigative journalism at its worst in terms of sourcing. That level of failure justifies the alternate take being aired at full breadth and scope, because the neoliberal political engine responsible for Freeland's meteoric rise to this candidacy has no debunking counter. As the per this result from one of the most authoritative newspapers in the country, despite having had six years since the news broke nationally (and then internationally) to exoriate and repudiate all this as "fake news", not a single rebuttal has been issued.

Instead NYT has validated the concerns right to their core by acknowledging Chrystia Freeland's grandfather was three steps down the command chain from Hitler, with only Goebbels and Emil Gassner in between in terms of advisement of what and what not to print in Mikhailo Chomiak's Nazi propaganda newspaper. How this supplies the hair splitting justification of NYT labeling him an "ultranationalist" as opposed to a Nazi propagandist is the begged question.  

The Tablet article is significant because it covers all the sources, very commendable. There is no disagreement on background. Richard Sanders has the same three heirarchical degrees of separation from Hitler to Freeland's grandfather, for example, but not based on advisory capacity, rather boss's chain of command. Everything cited above and below was sourced by the New York Times via Tablet: Alex Boykowich, Richard Sanders, Moss Robeson and Pers Anders Rudling. In other words, since all of these sources were considered worthy of citation in NYT's source article, let's air what they've said on the matter. And the NYT's Tablet source is in full accord that the great DNC Russiagate hoax was weaponized from inception and deployed internationally across the border by the Government of Canada (and Freeland herself) to attack journalists and Canadians domestically for airing the truth about her background, and that she was consistent both in her lies of omission and admiration for her grandfather.

5) The unmitigated disaster that was the Ohio Norfolk Southern railway crash succeeded in highlighting a number of things (in terms of rinse repeat especially, with both DNC actors and Gates funded MSM manipulating the story against Trump; -the incident is the misinformation province of blame Russia billionaires manipulating the media as well), but the one that really leaps out in this context is the proposed LNG terminal in New Jersey in light of the Nordstream sabotage forcing a natural gas windfall and what that means for LNG by rail, which includes a lot of domestic risk reaped from what is, at essence a war crime against a NATO ally, Germany, who is rushing to build its first LNG port. In terms of billionaire rail investors, the same profiteers are going to reap the profits of the LNG boom by rail, which will likely prove as literal as the oil by rail boom did. There is no basis to expect improvement as per risk when there have been none since that investigative report of the explosive gong show of oil by rail circa 2013. Back then the negligence of federal regulation was so pronounced it immolated 47 people. It is also noteworthy that the calculated denigration of rail workers (net 30% staff cuts) and rail infrastructure via the monopolist strategy of maximally exploiting hostage markets (which reaped Bill Gates a 34% share windfall in the same year 47 people got burned alive) transferred seamlessly from vital infrastructure to the Covid-19 crisis, in no small part thanks to Gates Foundation's funding control of WHO and the mainstream media, which furnished the human race as hostage market, with planet lockdown permitting Bill Gates to reap a 10xs return on his BioNTech/Pfizer investment before admitting the Covid-19 vaccines didn't prevent transmission, -only after he cashed out. But let's not take his word for it on the Covid-19 vaccine failing to stop transmission, which means it doesn't qualify as a vaccine by the original definition of vaccination, which was accordingly modified by the CDC before the Covid-19 mRNA roll out. That the vaccine fails to stop transmission and only alleviates symtoms means it is providing adaptive resistance for the virus which forces it to escalate deviant adaption. It also means there is no (and never was) medical basis for vaccination mandates. In tandem Florida became the first state to release its VAERS reports (for the last seventeen years), which show "a 1700% increase in VAERS reports after the release of the Covid-19 vaccine", with the "reporting of life threatening conditions increased over 4400%". Happy Valentines, almost. 

WHO director Tedros also made an announcement for St. Patrick's Day. Scroll down to "Gates buys the World Health Organization" for information on Tedros, who was the first WHO director not to be a medical doctor. (And that's not all.)

That wasn't the only announcement WHO made on St. Patrick's Day, but this one won't be covered. This was one of those, it pays to have been paying attention far earlier warning signs. This is the sort of early warning sign that warrants awareness now.

Larry Summers, who is on Bono's ONE Board of directors (bottom), also made an enlightening appearance for St. Patrick's Day. RED/ONE billionaire sponsor Warren Buffett (responsible for over half of Gates Foundation's stock portfolio being Berkshire Hathaway, which meant he was responsible for Bill Gates' divorce lawyer) is onhand for Biden to consult on the latest round of banking collapses. 

The predicted LNG export boom is a rinse repeat of a domestic gas boom escalation fueled by a US MIC (Military Industrial Complex) war, as the Iraq War 2.0 was what made the tar sands boom economically viable. After Bill Gates and Warren Buffett co-invested in North American rail after visiting a Canadian tar sands facility in 2009, oil by rail export from Canada to the US shot up by 29,000% in four years. The Iraq war's functional consequence was to forcibly re-allocate energy market share production domestically, causing the Bakken boom in tandem to the frack/tar sands boom north border. This led to a massive increase in rail accidents and explosions because venting before shipment was not taking place with the fracked product as per federal law (-in the US; -whereas this freight was deliberately mis-labeled non-explosive (the wrong hazard class) north border). Tar sands product has to be cut 30% with fracked gas to move through a pipeline, making these trains extremely explosive and an extreme risk on par with the coporate and federal negligence that took place south border during the Bakken boom, freight from which imolated 47 Canadians and the town center of Lac-Megantic.

For both Iraq 2.0 and proxy war in Ukraine, you can look at the US MIC as engaged in a hostage marketization scheme in terms of energy. That same scheme got a rinse repeat with the Nordstream pipeline sabotage, meaning Germany and the EU cannot in any way retreat from what the US was imposing through market crisis/diplomatic pressure already. It is another MIC hostage marketization scheme in terms of taking the first compelled rise in domestic production and now shifting that to export, subjugating the EU at a much higher market price. It is the third time that Bill Gates has capitalized on a contrived hostage marketization scheme in coordinated contrivance with a US DNC administration in the last fifteen years, if you count the #bombtrains negligence and cover-up, leading to the illegally forced installation of the Dakota Access Pipeline. Given how little human life and the environment mattered the first round, and how it appears to matter even less today, you might as well prepare for #bombtrains 2.0. (Is it possible you didn't hear about this 2020 derailment into a tributary of one of the largest watersheds in Canada because Bill Gates is CN's biggest shareholder, via both his foundation and his holding company (Cascade Investments LLC)?)

Is it worth noting that Bill Gates has not announced a single donation towards Bono's RED (or ONE Campaign) since I produced these investigative reports? For 2016 I had substantiated that Gates Foundation was donating $128 million to Bono's RED, here and here, plus unlimited matching on the annual RED shopathon fund drive before Christmas. There appear to be no donations by Gates Foundation to RED or ONE Campaign since 2016 in terms of announced largesse. Bill and Bono are still BFFs, with Gate promoting Bono's book on Twitter, and for the Fullbright award as well. 

The point of fact is that while we have no idea where the money stands, Bono and U2's political (and "health") stances still just happen to be in complete performative alignment with Bill Gates' massive windfalls from hostage marketization (if no longer providing active PR cover while taking in over a hundred million), which apparently has now reached the level of war criminality against allies on a world scale, as opposed to an illegal assault on America's indigenous with the Dakota Access Pipeline. Before the Ohio rail disaster, the hostage market scheme of profitting off the exploit differential harvested off of paring the labour force down past the minimum and infrastructure neglect of vital infrastructure was enforced by Congress, breaking the rail stike Biden forced a settlement on a month earlier, preventing any negotiation between the railways and labour, thus enforcing the billionaire's power and overall rail monopoly control. 

"Why do these rail barons hate paid leave so much? Why would a company have no problem handing out 24 percent raises, $1,000 bonuses, and caps on health-care premiums but draw the line on providing a benefit as standard and ubiquitous throughout modern industry as paid sick days?

If it's arguably the same market scheme in both instances, and these are monopoly contrived markets to maximize profits, why would one foolishly presume that while the first (government enforced, including by the failure to enforce) profit system in vital infrasctructure is predatory, the subsequent one orchestrated in health driven by the exact same market mechanisms by the exact same orchestrator is viewed as the opposite, when the first market exploit differential's profit margins derived directly from human exploitation? Does this compute? 

To this we can add that Chrystia Freeland is so consummately neoliberal she is on record in a NYT opinion piece asserting that the world should be led by "philanthrocapitalist technocrats" (i.e., literally Bill Gates), which if you substitute the words "western democracy" for "traditional politics", reads about as fascist as they come: 

“At its best, this form of plutocratic political power offers the tantalizing possibility of policy practiced at the highest professional level with none of the messiness and deal making and venality of traditional politics. You might call it the Silicon Valley school of politics — a technocratic, data-based, objective search for solutions to our problems, uncorrupted by vested interests or, when it comes to issues like smoking or soft drinks, our own self-indulgence.” 

Bill Gates would adore this individual for Prime Minister just for the protection it affords the rail racket alone, which was so enablist in Canada the Ministry of Transportation had maintained the more than 250 exemptions it granted CN over failures to meet rail safety standards "Top Secret", leading up to the Lac-Megantic disaster. (That I should have archived.) If Canadians were in a semblance of sanity they'd beg NATO to take her, if it wasn't a perfect preamble for WWIII. 

Which should she score for, a nigh terrifying prescience and perpiscuity, or is it incredible in hindsight that the gobal machinations of one said such plutocrat utilizing the WHO to consolidate this manner of power on a global scale using a world health crisis furnished her with enough personal despotic power as to allow her to dismantle the most fundamentally framed rights establishing one of the world's considered most successful democracies? 

Bill Gates knows all about the soil race as well, in the same interview he talks about Ukraine at 28:27 (after admitting to its being a world class kleptocracy): "Ukraine has better agricultural land than the United States does." Gates' admission that the vaccines were innefective in duration and transmission is at 54:30 in the same interview.

"In late 2013, the then president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, rejected a European Union association agreement tied to the $17 billion IMF loan, whose terms are only now being revealed.

Instead, Yanukovych chose a Russian aid package worth $15 billion plus a discount on Russian natural gas. His decision was a major factor in the ensuing deadly protests that led to his ouster from office in February 2014 and the ongoing crisis.

According to the Oakland Institute, "Whereas Ukraine does not allow the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in agriculture, Article 404 of the EU agreement, which relates to agriculture, includes a clause that has generally gone unnoticed: it indicates, among other things, that both parties will cooperate to extend the use of biotechnologies."

6) While all the above was going on, the Government of Canada received a preliminary heads up on the lawfully compelled legal review caused by invoking the Emergency Measures Act to conclude whether or not the conditions for invokation had in fact been legally met. This report was produced by Justice Paul Rouleau, expressing openly how conflicted he felt about it. It was measured and muted from both directions. Let's rewind to what cause the EMA:

On January 29, 2022 the Freedom Convoy arrived  and parked itself in the middle of Ottawa over a Canadian government announcing a vaccine mandate on November 19th, forcing vaccination of "essential service providers", including all truckers, by January 15, 2022.

"The announcement clarified that unvaccinated or partially vaccinated foreign national truck drivers would be prohibited from entering Canada after that date. Unvaccinated Canadian truck drivers could enter Canada but would have to quarantine for two weeks. According to the Canadian Press and CBC, as of January 22, the mandates would impact an estimated 26,000 unvaccinated truckers of the 160,000 truck drivers who regularly cross the border in both the United States and Canada.^[10] When asked in the House of Commons to produce data linking truckers to COVID-19 infections in Canada, neither the minister of health Jean-Yves Duclos nor the chief public health officer Theresa Tam were able to do so.^[11]" - Wikipedia

This meant loss of business due to mandating a quarantine time of fourteen days for unvaccinated Canadian truckers on every return border crossing, despite the fact that the vaccination rate of truckers exceeded the general population's in Canada (77%). This amounted to forced vaccination to remain in business. It also amounted to an abrogation of a Canadian citizen's inherent right to movement abroad framed by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms by only granting that right to essential service providers on the condition of a government mandated vaccination, codified rigths to movement the Canadian government was already violating interprovincially and abroad in terms of the prohibitions on the unvaccinated traveling by plain or train, even interprovincially.

This deadline by the Canadian government was in conjunction with a US border exemption of unvaccinated US truckers ending on January 22nd. The dual vaccine exemption deadlines were a direct threat to trade flows on an shipping industry already in a personnel crisis, impacting the largest cargo truck trade flow in the world. It would have produced a serious trade impact from both sides of the border if the remaining refusers remained unvaccinated. On the Canadian side this was to force the remaining 16% of unvaccinated truckers to vaccinate (as per the figure above), the minority who'd at that threshold consciously declined the vaccination as a personal health choice (which only deepened in conviction with ensuing availability of research), namely that minority of the trade who were of strongest possible conviction on the matter. This met the loggerhead that only 100% vaccination would satisfy the Canadian government. (The entire shots series had to be complete, putting the remaining 16% out of business for that duration if they complied, while additionally dealing with 14 day quarantines with every border crossing, putting their ability to do business down to two transits per month.) This was the high number; - the Canadian Trucking Alliance stated the loss would be a range of between 10-15% of truckers. Trudeau repeatedly stated that 90% of truckers were vaccinated in the argument that the mandate was dealing with a "small fringe minority".

The small fringe minority of people who are on their way to Ottawa, who are holding unacceptable views that they are expressing, do not represent the views of Canadians…who know that following the science and stepping up to protect each other is the best way to ensure our rights, our freedoms, our values as a country.

The occupation of the "red zone" in Ottawa with no declared end date by the trucker convoy protest (and additional thousands of pedestrians) caused the Trudeau government to invoke the Emergency Measures Act on February 14th, 2022 on the basis the peaceful protest was a threat to Canada's national sovereignty. An EMA, which was formerly Canada's equivalent to martial law in wartime invokes nationwide abrogation of a swath of fundamental Canadian rights, which only changed moniker and use from the "War Measures Act" after Trudeau's father as Prime Minister was the first to invoke it outside of wartime. Reframed in the 80's six years after the ratification of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms in 1982, it has stringent checks and balances (foremost being an mandatory review process to ensure conditions for invocation were met). The EMA abrogation of Canadian civil rights and freedoms ratified by the Charter can only be invoked by a threat to Canadian sovereignty of such magnitude as to present an imminent and direct existential danger to the country itself.

The EMA was used (in terms of actions unrelated to physical dismantlement of the protest) by Canada's Finance Minister/Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland after the first attempt to not automatically refund the $10 million in donated online funds to the Freedom Convoy via GoFundMe was met with public outcry at the "extraordinarily sleazy move" of the Canadian government demanding the fundraiser be shut down (-whose idea was it not to refund the donors unless they form filled and made an individual request but rather reallocate the funds), and then was thwarted by the Freedom Convoy relaunching donations with a US online crowdfund entity (GiveSendGo) Canada did not have legal jurisdiction to shutdown. Unable to attack the fundraising vehicle, Freeland instead announced the immediate dispensation to seize bank accounts of protesters and online donors of the protest who were Canadian citizens absent any criminal charge, arrest or due process, an extraordinary violation of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms in terms of the right to asembly (including protest) and right to finances. This was implemented under prior legislated protocols put in place to prevent bank transactions to terrorist organizations, with the government ordering banks to close accounts simply by handing over names the government identified, absent the cause.

Freeland seized the bank accounts of ordinary Canadian citizens despite the fact that the financial surveillance transactional system (FINTRAC) she extra-legally employed using the EMA, (unidentified) aspects of which she leveraged into making permanent) announcing that they found no evidence of suspicious transactions in donations to the convoy. These hastily invoked bank account seizures were castigated by Justice Rouleau's EMA review for having no release mechanism, though he justified Freeland's seizure of bank accounts, measures which more disturbingly Freeland announced were designed for permanency.

"We may all have permanent flags on our banking record,” [Dichter] explained of himself and other convoy-related figures who had their assets frozen. “So that means if I go to open another business account, or if we’re working on a foundation—anything—I’m going to get asked a whole lot of questions and maybe denied a bank account. Am I going to stay in that country if that’s my circumstance? No fucking way.” - Benjamin Dichter, The Freedom Convoy's Renegade Jew - The Tablet

I just want to add that having witnessed almost live real time video of coordinated police heavy horse units (not draft horses, but not small either) in lineup conducting coordinated charges into standing crowds (not at a gallop, which wasn't possible) on the day police forces cleared out the protest under the EMA, Freeland's claim that the government moved to do this with the least amount of violence possible is laughable, on this and several counts, like the snipers stationed on buildings and systemic semi cabin searches at gunpoint. 

Her claim the protest was illegal was also ludicrous; -the real reason the EMA had to be invoked was because they were so completely stymied on being able to arrest the total sum of gathered protesters for any crime that they had to resort to broadening the charge of "mischief" or "counseling to commit mischief" to the utter limit in terms of affecting someone's lawful property use (roads are Ottawa's), with the second charge being used to criminalize coordinating, aiding and abetting a civil disobedience protest. (Suddenly the charge became quite broad, but it still would possess little application and effect applied to the Convoy's existing circumstance. -Do you think Canada doesn't possess a riot act? -Because if the gathering had exhibited any of the accused police reports of violence above and beyond the normal scale incidence for such a mass gathering or urban setting, it would have been invoked in a heartbeat.)

Literally the Canadian government is such a failure of jurisprudence that the BC provincial government has in the past breached the most fundamental division in British law, that between civil and criminal offense, in order to criminalize peaceful protests under civil injunction proceedings, arbitrarily converting the charges under civil injunctions to criminal, in turn criminalizing aiding and abetting the blockaders defying a civil injunction, so one is subject to criminal charges for helping any individuals blockading as well. I can only picture the crashing reality of the government discovering they really have no legal tools of suppression, and that the way the law was jabberwocky'ed in the past to deal with mass civil disobedience could not be applied here without showing the government's use of injunctions in the past breached the most fundamental division in law. There's no way to know the forensics, or whether these historic legal tactics were examined, it's just assured they would have provided no recourse in any event. When they went after aiding and abetting the protest with the threat of arrests for anyone who supported the semi sit in with assistance, they were stymied on a mass scale. That was what the mass mobilization with gas cans, both full and empty, was all about. (-You can't charge us all.) It was a mass mobilization to counter the issued threat of criminalization for people donating gas (or anything else) to members of the convoy.

Canada has a long tradition of what could be considered balls to the wall mass civil disobedience. Usually carried out in remote areas, it involves self-sufficiency capable of camping for months at a time. A city camp out is much easier. These are civil disobediance tactics where the goal is to make the blockade as difficult and inconvenient as possible, such as road blockades with sitters supsended over cliff edges, or high in suspended tree platforms. Only inconvenience that affects the economy has any impact whatsoever, as the three border blockades drastically showed. These had been resolved and evacuated by local police presence before the EMA was invoked, but garnered the classic response personal visit from Biden nonetheless, which pressured everything that followed.

The EMA was forced by the fact that they could find nothing illegal that would permit them clear the Ottawa occupation, and unless they wanted their extremely dubious historic "legal" tactics that breached the most fundamental tenet and division of the British legal system laid bare for the entire world to see, they had to invoke the EMA. It was either that or perhaps run the risk of showing the world that Canada are arbitrarily criminalizes peaceful protests by abusing the law, which the EMA defused (having the same net result by legally shutting down the entire country) by purportedly offering the loin cloth pretension of presenting that "we're not total totalitarian despots". 

Justification of this action was aired by Justice Minister Mendocino stating in interview that if any protesters or protest financial supporters supported Trump, they were terrorist affiliates who should be rightfully worried about losing their bank accounts, a statment he made without parsing any distinction that the Canadian government only possessed such legal authority over Canadian citizens. Given exactly zero protesters were occupying Ottawa over anything pertaining to the prior president of another country, and any affinity to a cross border political figure whatever his stature has zero correlation to being a terrorist, the pretext was ludicrous. This was moreso:

CBC announcer Nil Köksal went on air on January 28th and suggested the trucker protests were a Russian concoction. “Given Canada’s support of Ukraine in this current crisis with Russia,” she posited, to Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino, “there is concern that Russian actors could be continuing to fuel things as this protest grows, or perhaps even instigating it from the outset.” -@Bernie'sTweets

Now that this background has reached official status this background and the events of her tenure have worldwide relevance, and the cultural milieu that produced such an utterly outlandish justification to be uttered by a Justice Minister should also be a matter of some scrutiny. It is important to examine of all this closely with the gravity of what this cocktail might produce on the level to precipitate WWIII, as well as examining what normalized this prospect beconimg a reality in the middle of a massive pump and dump of of weapons to the tune of $130 billion under NATO for the Ukraine war. 

Justin Trudeau and the Politics of the Possible: The Emergencies Act Inquiry in Canada and the Triumph of Propaganda - Ray McGinnis

This is the best summary I've found of how conditions for invoking the EMA were not met, contrary to Paul Rouleau's conclusion. 

 

In other words Bono was too lazy to be bothered with the conscience niggling question of whether he was merely being a fact check devoid parrot. Let's take a look, as I'm not only going to show you that U2 did this PR wash twice, it was done in tandem initially with a misinformation psyop originating out of the US that was designed to weaponize "Russian disinformation" not just to attack the incoming elected president, but to protect Chrystia Freeland from the truth about her background coming out. This was in turn weaponized by the ruling Liberal Party (Freeland's held four cabinet posts in) domestically against Canadians in a direct attack on the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Canada's equivalent to the American Constitution, which only came into being in 1982. That this was a conjunctive operation (that "Russian disinformation" was intended for weaponization outside of the US) was indicated by U2's concert performance itself.

Let's review Zelensky from a policy vantage: "What about neoliberal reforms initiated by Zelensky? You can judge on their popularity by opinion polls – up to 72% of Ukrainians did not support his land reform, the flagship of Zelensky’s neoliberal program. After his party approved it despite people’s indignation, Zelensky’s rating fell from 73 percent in Spring 2019 to 23 percent in January 2022."

 

"[N]ever in the pre-Maidan history of Ukraine had the country appointed foreign citizens to top ministerial posts—this became possible only after the Maidan. In 2014, Natalie Jaresko—a citizen of the US—was appointed Ukraine’s Minister of Finance, Aivaras Abromavičius—a citizen of Lithuania—became Ukraine’s Minister of Economy and Trade, Alexander Kvitashvili—a citizen of Georgia—the Minister of Healthcare. In 2016, Ulana Suprun—a citizen of the US—was appointed the acting Minister of Healthcare. Other foreigners assumed offices of lower ranks. Needless to say, all these appointments resulted not from the will of Ukrainians but from the recommendations of the global neoliberal institutions, which is not surprising given that the Maidan itself was not supported by half of Ukraine’s population."

"The basic argument presented in my recent book is that the astonishing victory of Zelensky and his party, later transformed into a parliamentary machine to churn out and rubber-stamp neoliberal reforms (in a 'turbo regime,' as they called it), cannot be explained apart from the success of his television series, which, as many observers believe, served as Zelensky’s informal election platform."

As the Maidan and Russia-Ukraine relations are very divisive issues in Ukrainian society, Zelensky ignored them so as not to jeopardize the unity of his virtual nation, his viewers, and ultimately his voters.

Zelensky’s election promises, made on the fringes of the virtual and the real, were predominantly about Ukraine’s 'progress,' understood as 'modernization,' 'Westernization,' 'civilization,' and 'normalization.' It is this progressive modernizing discourse that allowed Zelensky to camouflage his plans for neoliberal reforms, launched just three days after the new government came to power. Throughout the campaign, the idea of 'progress' highlighted by Zelensky was never linked to privatization, land sales, budget cuts, etc. Only after Zelensky had consolidated his presidential power by establishing full control over the legislative and executive branches of power did he make it clear that the 'normalization' and 'civilization' of Ukraine meant the privatization of land and state/public property, the deregulation of labor relations, a reduction of power for trade unions, an increase in utility tariffs, and so on."

"In terms of selling this one-dimensional story to the world, Zelensky’s artistic skills appear invaluable. He is finally on the global stage, and the world is applauding. The former comedian does not even try to hide his satisfaction. Answering the question of a French reporter on March 5, 2022 — the tenth day of the Russian invasion — on how his life had changed with the beginning of the war, Zelensky replied with a smile of delight: 'Today, my life is beautiful. I believe that I am needed. I feel it is the most important meaning in life – to be needed. To feel that you are not just an emptiness that is just breathing, walking, and eating something. You live.'

For me, this construction is alarming: it implies that Zelensky enjoys the unique opportunity to perform on a global stage provided by the war. It made his life beautiful; he lives. In contrast to millions of Ukrainians whose life is not nice at all and thousands of those who are not alive any longer."

 

These quotes are from Ukrainian academic Olga Baysha, author of Democracy, Populism, and Neoliberalism in Ukraine: On the Fringes of the Virtual and the Real. All this hints that the war in Ukraine is disaster capitlism writ large. But it is also provides for a physical erasure of the left in terms of dissappearances and torture:

They included the For Life Party, the Left Opposition, the Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine, the Socialist Party of Ukraine, Union of Left Forces, Socialists, the Party of Shariy, Ours, State, Opposition Bloc and the Volodymyr Saldo Bloc.

 

Openly fascist and pro-Nazi parties like the Azov National Corps were left untouched by the presidential decree, however.

'The activities of those politicians aimed at division or collusion will not succeed, but will receive a harsh response,' President Zelensky stated. 

As he wiped out his opposition, Zelensky ordered an unprecedented domestic propaganda initiative to nationalize all television news broadcasting and combine all channels into a single 24 hour channel called 'United News' to 'tell the truth about war.'” - "'One less traitor': Zelensky Oversees campaign of assassination, kidnapping and arrest of political opposition" - The Grayzone

 

 

The USA is pulling the strings in terms of not protecting President Zelensky, who was elected on (over) 70% of the popular vote, with de-escalation over eastern Ukraine as his main campaign plank. The US refuses to protect this president from the neo-Nazi factions within his own army who have declared they will kill him if he pursues a peace settlement with Russia, which ended it (or it will end him). That Ukraine's neo-Nazi faction is calling the shots with US assent is implicit in the same move, in that no conditions were placed on continuing to arm the neo-Nazi Ukrainian forces faction who had threatened Zelensky's life. (If they are not a key faction, why would Zelensky be video-camming an Azov member to the Greek Parliament in an appeal for arms?)

Furthermore, it is essential to realize that the history of Ukraine's "special relationship" with Canada has been consummately neoliberal and is structured in terms of arms for debt, on top of a spine-snapping legacy of debt to the IMF: "Ukraine owes the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank, European Union, Canada, and other international creditors around US$125 billion — almost 80 percent of its GDP. Amidst an outpouring of support for Ukraine, no Western leader has called for international debt forgiveness."

This is replicating US policy towards Ukraine. The USA's recently announced lend lease program is a concocted debt slavery boot on Ukraine's face, forever: -Ask the Brits. Or Russia for that matter.

"In last week’s budget, the [Canadian] federal government allocated a $1 billion loan to Ukraine. The funds will be channeled through the newly created IMF multi-donor Administered Account for Ukraine. The budget also earmarked a half billion dollars in new funding for arms. Since February 27, Canada has announced three new weapons donations, which include forty-five hundred M72 rocket launchers, seventy-five hundred hand grenades, a hundred Carl-Gustaf M2 anti-tank weapons, and two thousand rounds of ammunition. The weapons are donations but the bulk of Canada’s other assistance to Ukraine is in the form of loans.

When the interests of international debt holders and ordinary Ukrainians clash, it appears that the losers continue to be workers, pensioners, and their families. Wealthy capitalist countries are eager to provide weapons to enable continued fighting but are silent on requests for debt relief. The fact that weapons are acceptable aid — but not the concrete relief from suffering that debt forgiveness could provide — tells us something fundamental about the capitalist system." - "Canada is Happy to Provide Ukraine with Weapons, but Not Debt Relief" - Yves Engler

-One might well pity the future of Ukraine under this woman's ministration, as it amounts to a fiscal debt restructuring boot on Ukraine's face, -forever:

"Since January 2022, Canada has committed over $118 million in military equipment to support Ukraine. In Budget 2022, Canada also allocated $500 million in additional military aid for Ukraine for the 2022-23 fiscal year." - Canadian Armed Forces News release April 22, 2022, announcing deliveries of heavy artillery including howitzers

As Finance Minister it appears her goal was runaway inflation with no accountability, as she was personally responsible for about 80% percent of Canada's current skyrocketing fiscal deficit, with just her Covid relief bill alone, meaning Elon Musk's Hitler riposte for the budget fiscal year delay was more than well earned. Freeland's administration refused to declare where any of this $240 billion Covid relief money went. The Liberal Federal government just printed the money. The circumstances Chrystia Freeland bailed on Reuters to return to Canada to run for Canada's Liberals on Trudeau's personal invitation are worth a mention, given her budgetary and potential leadership flaws were already well apparent, Trudeau being the perfect foil for such failure of fiscal constraint. She bailed after personally overseeing the failed launch of Reuter's digital department, running it into bankruptcy. With that on her resume Trudeau still handed her the nation's finances to torch. The result was the meme below, since as Finance Mininister Chrystia Freeland was also responsible for freezing more Canadians' personal bank accounts over Freedom Convoy donations than the USA did over 9-11. The "Nurse Ratched of the New World Order" is well earned. Turns out Ukraine was not the only nation where Freeland oversaw a fiscal boot to the face. 

-Anyone else astonished by the sheer audacity of posing with a fascist Ukrainian scarf a mere week after attacking Canadian democracy so fundamentally that hundreds of police officers from all over the country were raiding parked semis at gunpoint (potentially with children inside), using an Emergency Measures Act (the closest thing Canada has to invoking martial law), after a weeks-long peaceful civil disobedience blockade (with the largest motor convoy to ever hit the Guinness World Book of Records), where she personally oversaw the extrajudicial seizure of bank accounts over unnacceptable political views? -Where the Prime Minister labelled anyone contesting invocation of the EMA in parliament as "standing with the swastikas"?

 (This was being indoctrinated in children in Azov's summer camps leading up to the war, that's what "death to the Muscovites" means.) 

It is also Sanders' assertion that Chrystia's mother Halyna's return to post USSR collapse Ukraine at the outset of independence was to help pen their constitution. (Toronto Star euphemistically refers to her return to Ukraine post 1992 as "Halyna became actively involved in putting the country back together".) Halyna's return at the outset of Ukrainian independence post Berlin wall collapse dovetails with when Pers Anders Rudling declares the historical revisionism created by the Ukrainian diaspora was reimported back home:

Nor is this limited to the media. In 2012, Swedish postdoctoral fellow Per Anders Rudling, who bravely chronicled the whitewashing of Shukhevych and others, was subjected to a brutal campaign designed to discredit his academic career." - "Why is Canada so Full of Nazi Monuments?" - The Goldman Report. 

(This report fails on one question. When it comes to the matter of the weak willed downplaying of the Nazi monuments in Canada, including by the Jewish community itself, it asserts this is due to still prevalent anti-semitism, which doesn't explain the tepid Canadian Jewish reaction. The Jewish community recognize an Israel First administration when they see one. None are more so than Chrystia Freeland, which she more than proved on her positioning and interventions as Foreign Minister on Syria.)

Canada is ground zero for the Ukrainian Nazi/OUN-UPA diaspora (given Canada formed an umbrella organization for these groups, the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, in 1940 (Sanders)), and therefore arguably ground zero for Ukrainian historical revisionism that was reintroduced to Ukraine itself, a classic case of weaponized immigrants. Pers Anders Rudling implies as much in the paper hyperlinked above. If Canada wasn't ground zero in this regard, (meaning if they didn't have the critical mass of constituents to back Freeland up in terms of sheer lobby power), this wouldn't be happening. They were weaponized immigrants in service to the Canadian government in equal measure, who deliberately brought them in to crush the agrarian left wing Ukrainian prior diaspora, and they've been in direct collusion ever since (to the extent of granting Order of Canada honours to former Galizien SS (Levine, Sanders, Boykowich)). There's no way we would be witnessing this sort of audacity in a nation that sacrificed 45,000 to defeat the Nazis otherwise:

In short, without the full backing of the Canadian government, there is no way this fascist faction of the Ukrainian diaspora, which includes ethnic cleansing murderers and their descendants, would have the audicity to make such demands. The flashpoint figure in all this is running the Liberal cabinet in the sense that's she's held four cabinet positions (two simultaneously), presently Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister at the same time.

Freeland in tandem threatened that anyone airing the truth was aiding and abetting a perceived enemy nation, precisely at the moment when the Russiagate propaganda hellscape was unleashed. It's very first target, in a overt fake news attack by the Washington Post, was a host of independent left wing media outlets, a deliberate mash up of the reputable with the maybe less so, with the fairly unimpeachable including including Richard Parry's Consortium News. Alex Jones was not on the attack list and neither was Breitbart, Daily Caller etc., though zerohedge was, Black Agenda Report, and Truthdig. (I noticed that of the list's top ten miscreants, for the article I was working on at the time I'd 'just happened' to source four of them, Truthdig being one.) 

If you followed independent journalists who were scraping their bread and butter together post exile from MSM at the time for their "unnaceptable" reportage, you would have have the privilege of watching Mark Ames et al destroy WaPo's source in real time on Twitter in less than 24 hours, the demolishing efficacy of unfettered free speech information flow in action with the use of wayback archiving. The red herring? Aside from the group launching WaPo's new spurious red list of "Russian disinformation" outlets being practically non-existent beyond its offical Twitter account, ProporNot's twitter turned out to have tweeted Ukrainian fascist slogans, -in Ukrainian (which the trifecta from The Exiled were apparently capable of catching out). I recall Ames in particular. (Cue the sexual harrassment attack, which shows how venomously silo'd the ideological opposition Twitter democrats were in order to protect their most precious big lie.The state didn't need to attack (yet), but escalated in due course when the attempted career destruction wasn't enough, having already embalmed reality with the requisite legislation.) It was so flagrant, Russiagate's first salvo in censorship attack mode was, we will attack you with obvious lies with impunity, and we'll use fascist factions to do it. Meet our side. That it was Ukrainian let you know what the framework of the information war was dressing the stage for, Cold War reset 2.0, with Ukraine as ground zero. This was obvious post election 2016 to anyone with observational capacity. Yves Smith, whose Naked Capitalism was red listed, issued the debunking forthwith:

Here we learn "One of the key media sources who blamed the DNC hacks on Russia, ramping up fears of crypto-Putinist infiltration, is a Ukrainian-American lobbyist working for the DNC. She is Alexandra Chalupa—described as the head of the Democratic National Committee’s opposition research on Russia and on Trump, and founder and president of the Ukrainian lobby group “US United With Ukraine Coalition”, which lobbied hard to pass a 2014 bill increasing loans and military aid to Ukraine, imposing sanctions on Russians, and tightly aligning US and Ukraine geostrategic interests." 

FAIR rebutted WaPo, so did The Intercept, Max Blumenthal and so on (Alternet eliminated that rebuttal). This was the existent immediate background when Chrystia Freeland dealt with her Nazi heritage by issuing her implicit threat that anyone who brought it up was actually an instrument or unwitting dupe of Russian dinsformation warfare. The existing back up to the threat was that she had the full array of the American mighty Wurlitzer unleashed by a lying, corrupt DNC who was prepared to weaponize their election loss with the fabrication of Russiagate backing her up, willing to destroy anyone and everyone's careers in a deliberate minsinformation war being officiated not least by one of the most powerful conscience devoid billionaires.

The timing of all this is not insignificant. John Helmer first broke Chrystia Freeland's Nazi background as a news story on January 19, 2017. (A Russian outlet ran it eight days later. Helmer is American, not Russian, located in Canada, and asserts he's banned from Russia for his Russian coverage for life.) He also indicates Consortium News lifted their story from him and launched it February 27, 2017 under an apparently fake reporter's ghost name (a Ukrainian one), which just happens to be the news story Canada's Communications Security Establishment (CSE) subsequently claimed was the origin inception story for the "Russian disinformation" cyber attack on Chrystia Freeland. The Washington Post fake news censorship attack asserting all of these leftist independent news outlets were fronting "Russian disinformation" was launched on Novermber 16, 2016. The US's mighty fake news Wurlitzer launch was  not only to provide a false rationalization for Hillary Clinton's election loss that would be weaponized against the incumbent upset for his entire tenure, its first real target in terms of online censorship and scaring the public away from "alternative" online news sources was perfectly timed to obfuscate Chrystia Freeland's Nazi background that was brewing on the backburner right before it hit the media fan. On the list of WaPo's top ten founts of Russian disinformation was Consortium News. Basically WaPo's fake news hit piece provided the Canadian security establishment the fake pretext they were going to run with in labelling the breaking of Chrystia Freeland's background on the internet and world news as "Russian disinformation". 

If you don't think that's the case, why was it the only repudiation Chrystia Freeland made, the one the Canadian government resorted to in lockstep, attributing the breaking of the story to Consortium News, after the "hot tip" of the Washington Post pre-emptorily listing the same outlet as one of the top ten disseminators of "Russian disinformation"? CSE's only basis for asserting the "attack" on Freeland with basic reality was online Russian disinformation actually came from a planted fake news story out of US MSM, which basically instructed them where they were going to lay attribution in the official cover up. It was on the heels of this overall context between the two governments that U2 ran a soft power psyop to inculcate the unsuspecting Canadian public with the reinforcement that Chrystia Freeland was unimpeachable, among the ranks of world leading feminists. 

Why has the Canadian Liberal government and its funded "legacy media" resorted to weaponizing this accusation of Russian influence ever since, using it to attack and quell notice of Canada's Nazi monuments (using the lie as denial, as opposed to weighing the truth and perhaps considering their removal), and even going so far as to use it as a smear against the Freedom Convoy? In terms of October Surprises, did you see what just got launched on the last day before election day against Ford in Ontario's provincial election? (In the most populous Canadian province's provincial election. Holy sheep dong. Now you know why only 33% of the electorate in Ontario bothered to vote, and why even nepotistic coke snorting conservatives still won. Cue Liberal cabinet members mulling that voting should be made mandatory by law, to conceal their utter evacuation of alternative leadership.)

This is a trans border partisan attack dog. And there you have the footprints, in terms of consequences, of a cooperative psyop. If not so, it was mighty convenient both pointed their fingers the exact same direction, which worked to wipe out the source origins of not only who first broke the story, but all subsequent consideration of sourcing when the Globe and Mail launched the story in March 2017. The source for the Globe and Mail story deliberately sourced only John Paul HImka's document vetted by the Nazi propgandist's two daughters and a grand-daughter, in order to deflect the nation from the discoveries emanating from a Facebook post by Ukrainian Canadian Alex Boykowich. He found Chrystia Freeland's grandfather, Michael Chomiak, sitting in the Alberta archives. Thankfully Yasha Levine, author of Surveillance Valley, followed through on the lead. 

The only question in play here was the power of whose Wurlitzer, who could control and spew the biggest fount of lies via the back channels of power? The WaPo first censorship salvo was a clear demonstration of that. The information war had been staged not on the question or matter of ascertaining truth or reality, but as a matter of power distribution. From this vantage Freeland's offense as defense retort was not only threatening but fairly unconscionable, and a deliberate play in that she was reaching to powerful resources outside of Canada with no national interest. This is no surprise from a woman married to a Russophobic New York Times columnist. For her this is practically indistinguishable from an interfamilial resource. 

The implication clear in terms of where/with whom the great Russiagate lie originated, the subject was verboten in left/Liberal Canadian circles and most everywhere else. It was a threat by way of political bleed over from the United States' DNC. This is when and where U2 stepped into the fray in Canadian politics projecting the US toxic divide and conquer as if it was our own internal problem, while simultaneously femi-washing Chrystia Freeland's Nazi background. 

 

It is a true indication of journalism's total collapse that the only individual with a significant Canadian viewership to examine the depth of governmental collapse the invocation of the EMA to control a protest represented was Jordan Peterson. (Citation is not endorsement.) On the other hand, Jordan's Peterson's statement at (2:13) that there is no Nazism to speak of in Canada and none in its history is woefully mistaken. Rightfully there wouldn't be, but you've obviously remained oblivious to contrived orchestrations by the Canadian government. But we had a Hitlerphile Liberal Prime Minister in the form of William Lyon Mackenzie King. He was responsible for this quote:

My sizing up of the man as I sat and talked with him was that he is really one who truly loves his fellow man. His face is much more prepossessing than his pictures would give the impression of. The climate was such that with W.L.M. King as Prime Minister, Canada turned back a ship with over 900 Jewish refugees who were fleeing Germany in 1939. King's third tenure as Prime Minister was marked by true calumny and betrayal of the Canadian people. Under his auspices, Canada was responsible for the import of more than 2000 Ukrainian SS Galician POWs from postwar Britain. Britain lied that they were background checked (by giving a month of review, a procedural impossiblility), and they settled in Canada absent any. Canada was treating SS tattoos as a positive sign post war on who to allow to immigrate at the time, because that meant a surefire communist. So there were additional thousands of Ukrainian Nazis/OUN/UPA genocidaires/collaborators in that Ukrainian diaspora, like Chrystia Freeland's Nazi grandfather who never fought in the war, and more nationalities besides. Internal sourcing puts the figure of such Ukrainian extraction emigres at 35,000. (Sanders) The second hot tip I'd give Jordan Peterson as per his denial of Nazi presence in Canada is that he ought to take notice of the afore mentioned number of Nazi monuments in Canada and what they represent. 

Next I'd suggest a review of Doug Christie's case files, especially those that went all the way to the Supreme Court. If there was no Nazi presence in Canada, how come there was a twenty year case law assault on Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms in terms of ratifying Nazi speech (starting with what it would be permissable to teach in schools, meaning Holocaust denialism and demonization of Jewry of a most toxic sort) not quite from the moment of the Charter's inception? Read Doug Christie's "laudable" list of representation: "German Holocaust denier Ernst Zundel. Neo-Nazis Wolfgang Droege and Paul Fromm. White supremacists Doug Collins, John Ross Taylor and Terry Tremain. Anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists Malcolm Ross and James Keegstra. Nazi war criminal Imre Finta." Every case is worth forensics, and that's just one Canadian lawyer. This s*** doesn't just ex nihilo out of thin air. 

Then I'd suggest researching the neo-Nazi quote/unquote revival wave of the late '80's/early '90's and the don't ask/don't tell admittance policy into the Reform Party of Heritage Front members. Research the Heritage Front for a start. And ask yourself why one of the cofounders of the largest neoNazi white supremacist group in Canada during that period was a paid CSIS informant? Lastly one might inquire why the Chancellor of the University of Alberta, Peter Savaryn, was former Galicien SS, and went on to be President of the Progressive Conservative Association, who were the provincial government of Alberta for forty years, the PC Party being the equivalent of the Republican Party in the US (38:30). (The Reform Party went on to merge with the PC party after its humiliating defeat post NAFTA ratification, which in terms of membership differential was the same as the Reform Party swallowing and digesting the PC Party whole.)

Jordan Peterson's question of why this notion that extreme conservatism/white supremacy was US foreign influence directing the Freedom Convoy protest in order to undermine Canada was so universal in the Canadians expressly supporting Trudeau needs approached from another direction. Namely, why were Liberals freaking out about foreign influence directing a grassroots protest when in fact the protest was crushed with the Emergency Measures Act, with the most extreme measures being implemented by a Nazi descendent in cabinet, and she used a weaponized propaganda psyop designed to create popular hatred for Russia in the US Democratic body politic to silence dissent, meaning direct US influence over our body politic was for the Nazi descendent in Cabinet set to enable US neocon/neoliberal geopolitical aims in Ukraine? But that indisputable reality didn't have them clutching their pearls? 

I’ve since descended to epithets like “pied-piper” and accused Bono of whitewashing warmongers, thanks to a certain Freedom Convoy and the fact that a Nazi descendent cabinet minister U2 endorsed on their big screen as a leading feminist was responsible for seizing more Canadian bank accounts on account of “unacceptable views” than the US seized over 9-11. "Unnacceptable" meant remaining unvaccinated for Covid-19, a minority PM Trudeau labelled "racist", "misogynistic", and opposed to science, an outsized vocal minority who "take up space", with the question of whether they should be tolerated? (No, he really said this on air in a French Canadian broadcast. Funnily enough it's been erased off of YouTube. This was after running the first "othering" divide and conquer snap election in Canadian history where he claimed the unvaccinated were threatening "our children" (pity they haven't quoted this extensively enough but I made a transcript of Trudeau on the campiagn trail during his snap election), which is a matter of open debate, if there was any.

Chrystia Freeland extra-judicially seized the bank accounts of ordinary Canadian citizens despite the fact that the financial surveillance transactional system (FINTRAC) she extra-legally employed using the EMA ((unidentified) aspects of which she leveraged into making permanent) having announced they found no evidence of suspicious transactions in donations to the convoy. 

There two open court cases taking the position that the legal standard for invoking the Emergencies Act for the first time in history was not met (though it was used in its prior incarnation as the War Measures Act to intern Japanese Canadian citizens absent due process during WWII), including a case launched by the Canadian equivalent (CCLA) of the ACLU. This is after shutting down Parliament to prevent any debate on the EMA's invocation, which is its first requirement. The subsequent Commons committee review has determined that neither the RCMP nor the Ottawa police requested the Emergency Measures Act to deal with the parkade in Ottawa. (It was the position propounded by "legacy media" funded by the federal government.) It was also done immediately after what was surely a balls in a vice communication PM Trudeau had with President Biden. (The Windsor Ambassador Bridge blockade that caused this had been peaceably disbanded by police before the EMA was invoked to clear Ottawa, a semi "sit in" with no impact whatsoever on trade.)

Bono's still abominating the faith for, well, now we know it wasn’t just about weaponizing the American domestic divide and conquer formula for export, all of these maneuvers have been for the benefit of promoting a prolonged proxy war in Ukraine and (further) gaslighting the world population with the proximity of WWIII. As mentioned, U2's world tour was about conditioning Europe (Macron's France especially) for the great divide (through the bombastic pretension that US politics were trans-national common identity), severing them from Russian energy and reducing them to dependency status. Canada was where Bono graduated to PR fellating warmongers for this prospective war in the form of Freeland (if this wasn't the case it wouldn't happen ahead of time), she wasn't a world stage actor yet in terms of public profile, but since all the markers were already there that's irrelevant. Bono did the same in terms of electioneering 2016 for Clinton (Freeland used Clinton's Russiagate big lie to threaten anyone airing the truth about her Nazi background); -Freeland's ascendency is for the sake of US neoliberal geopolitical warfare aims. The Freeland obeisance moment shows Bono's adherence to the DNC borg is trans-national; -it betrays all national loyalties, to the extent of re-tooling the (originally religious) trans-national holiday his nation's responsible for at first dispensable opportunity. This is not insigificant in that Bono was whoring religiousity and religious experience for the tour that ran interference for Chrystia  Freeland's Nazi background to start. 

The entire Joshua Tree Tour was designed to deliberately muddle the profane with the sacred as a psyop, in that it was art performance designed to attach a religious experience to a DNC political orientation it espoused as trans-national, meaning the polarization between Trump and the DNC was portrayed in terms of Good vs. Evil that was pertinent on a world scale as opposed to being a US domestic issue, with Trump substituted as personification in Bono's Mac Phisto resumption, which was a camp iteration of the Devil incarnate. Bono invoked Trump as an existential enemy while appearing as the Devil onstage. So in other words, in any other country in the world, let's say Canada specifically, Bono was not only attaching secular liberal ideology to a religious experience, the implication was that this political orientation transcended national identity, and voila, now, here we are: Canada's Liberal Justice Minister, David Lametti announced that "Trump supporters should be very afraid" of getting their bank accounts seized absent due process, in an interview that equivocates bank transfer tracking measures and prohibitions against terror groups and criminal money laundering with possession of "unacceptable" political views, -if they support Trump. Bear in mind that Lametti this interview clip is deliberately misleading, as this threat has zero to do with U.S. Freedom Convoy donors, who Canada's Justice Minister can in no way threaten, having no jursidiction across the border. SEcondly to assert that the EMA was necessary because they could not legislate the necessary jurisprudence on time is patent nonsense, given we are governed by the rule of law, which includes any protest or insurrectionist violence, and civil disobedience rail or road blockades, given this has all wroked on environmental protests quite immeidately without resorting to legislation that is only supposed to be invoked if Canada's sovereignty is under existential threat. 

This begs the question of just what normalized this statement in the minds of the viewing audience, gave them such a sense of threat, justice and vindication as to believe an occupational protest justified this? (The Clayoquot Sound civil disobedience blockade for example, was a real blockade of a logging corporation's ability to go to work every day for over six months, involving an occupying camp of over 5000 people. It wasn't an existential threat to Canada's sovereignty.) More important question, what made the Canadian Justice Minister feel "safe" announcing this as if it was justified, as opposed to not feeling any second thought that his pretension was laughable? The simplest answer is, U2's concert length framing of Trump vs. the DNC as a transnational threat against all western liberalism (not just the DNC) made this announcement to the entire world as a world tour, framing it as a sophisticated emotional appeal on the side of the angels. It handed Freeland and the Liberals the signal of the attack framework they could use on any opposition with impunity. I am not saying the was the sole source of this type of propaganda, not at all. I'm asserting this was the most sophisticated psyop to reinforce that mindset, from the vantage of performance art considered beyond reproach, the lynchpin that asserted this was not simply an existential fight, but conferred liberalism transcendental righteousness (as absurd as it sounds, virtually the entirety of U2's audience swallowed that hook, line and sinker).

I did state in the essay analyzing the full concert's ramifications that Chrystia Freeland’s fascist position on Ukraine, given its utility for American foreign policy (Cha-ching), was the basis of her ascendence. It’s just a real shift when it’s real, and we went from a forcibly evacuated capitol, Ottawa, (with 100 checkpoints to enter the city center) to a photo op with multiple MPs with multiple Ukraine flags on the now pristinely vacant Parliament Hill in oh, about 48 hours. In the same fell swoop the implications of the Emergency Measures Act being invoked to forcibly evacuate a (cited at 50,000 people) peaceful protest that resounded around the world, the digital shutdown of protest funding by a western democratic government, (and the development of a permanent financial surveillance regime by Herr Freeland) were swept under the carpet. 

The fact that Freeland managed to exceed her absolutely epic foreign policy failure (basically inciting the destruction of her origin country for the sake of the failed inverted aspirations of ancestral ghosts, ultimately for the benefit of an engineered disaster capitalism technocratic overreach to impose digital ID/vaccine passport/UBI (Universal Basic Income) "ground zero" in Ukraine, geared towards behavioural monitoring/control in Europe (WEF young global leader, along with Justin Trudeau and NDP leader Jagmeet Singh)), by enacting domestic policy against her home country/attacking her fellow citizens, to the extent of literally dismantling a functioning democracy by a direct attack on Charter Rights (throughout Covid lockdown, that was then massively exceeded by the extra-legal measures she personally oversaw using the EMA), beggars belief.

Trudeau invoked the Emergency Measures Act over 300 parked semis.

Yes, Trudeau had the audacity to slander a Jewish Conservative MP in the  manner above while letting the grandchild of a Nazi propagandist seize bank accounts absent due process for supporting a protest with "unacceptable views" that was smeared as full of white supremacist, Nazi supporting Trumptopian type insurrectionists, meaning without being able to smear them with aspersions generated as per a cross border political class, they really had nothing. -When the did Canada have anything to do with the Confederate flag?

This is how the pied piper performance art'ed the export of a toxic US political paradigm and transposed it on nations it had nothing to do with, implanting this mindset in their Liberal audience as a purported real threat, after which it was all too conveniently weaponized against Canadians by the so called Liberal party while Liberals applauded. This was shortly followed by a secret deal to merge in all but name into a super majority party, brokered with the NDP (former Democratic Socialists) to act as one party with the Liberals, which subverted electoral democracy.

This is how Bono became instrumental in the destruction of a western democracy for the sake of the neocon/neoliberal warmonger Clinton cabal (that used Ukraine to finish gutting public discourse domestically, (win-win, arguably thanks to Freeland no one lost more on the democratic front to this bloody conscience devoid calculus than Canada, but first the cabal had to dedicate itself to the distortion of Ukrainian history; -Freeland performing front line in the historical revisionism was a personal mission, a lie she was wholly sublimated to in order to sanctify her own ego) with the requisite outcome that Canadians were punished by bank account seizures for supporting a peaceful protest by being labeled Trumpists (practically the externalization of family trauma in this instance where denial becomes the root cause in it acting out in external forms), which succeeded in externalizing as an act of erasure of actual issues in the Canadian national framework via the false transposition of another nation's political reality (the egotism of weaponizing national projection (that is a rationally flawed internal failure) as an international psyop is boggling, but this of course is the USA). Meaning this is nothing but a bastard marriage of one individual's utterly failed personal psychological framework with an equally flawed failed nationalized framework (both subsistent on a flawed exceptionalist conception), which Bono personally enabled. Mutually abominating unions are all this lot are capable of. The only competition here is whose set of lies gets to dominate and obliterate the public airwarves, even if it means whitewashing a Nazi national legacy in the bargain (actually an attempt at two (both Ukraine's and Canada's, as it was deliberately exported by Britain to be internalized in Canada, and how).

(The Heritage Front, big enough to carry out a massive riot in downtown Ottawa (with clubs, bats and home-made flails) that never made the press because it happened in conjunction with Gulf War I and the Kanesatake blockade.) Why would the Alberta Supreme Court strike down the Canadian Supreme Court's ruling, deliberately revitalizing this case? This stuff didn't spring ex nihilo out of Canadian soil. Crime is irrelevant, thought crime matters. Given Liberal conduct overseen by a Nazi descendent in utterly crushing the Freedom Convoy (meaning the only serious large scale public protest to occur in Canada during the Liberal tenure), the legacy media's pillorying pile on, on account of the Prime Minister's othering of those with "unnacceptable views" (with the doxxing of GiveSendGo donors the Canadian media used (CBC 4, CTV, Toronto Star, 1, 2, 3, 4) to attack ordinary Canadian citizens (courtesy of Google and Twitter) being the likely consequence of a US-Canadian collaborative hack psyop), that this is purely an idealogue attack is blindingly obvious (unless you're as blind as a DNC varietal self-righteous Liberal, completely unconscious of being under the sway of American political cross border soft power influence op with weaponized results). As pointed out, doxxing as per the Washington Post, Twitter, et al is quite selective as per who is a sanctionable target. 

Canada is an exceptional indicator in terms of this question, given the Liberals would fillibuster to prevent victim testimony on Pornhub as a viral platform for child rape being heard by parliamentary committee. There was no regulatory body created by the Liberals to redress this, no redress under present criminal laws on the books that already address this, no charges, no arrests, no enforced changes to the company's performance subject to oversight; -what we got instead was a far more broadly powered online censorship bill (to prevent RCMP collusion in the violation of Canadian privacy rights in terms contracting the use of facial recognition software absent awareness or consent re: Clearview AI). This is the typical neoliberal notion of "win-win", -with the parliamentary ethics committee investigation of Pornhub ominously a dead topic post 2021. -So much for the "it's 2015" feminist thrust of the Liberal platform, hallowed and hallmarked in Canada by U2 only with respects to the one Liberal female politican who just happened to be a Nazi descendent. 

As above, so below, the competition remains whose set of lies gets to dominate the prevailing culture. (Surprise, it's Hillary Clinton's big lie (enforced by a Ukrainian US NED wonk #Imwithher ideaologue), another unmatured human vetted into leadership by system failure who's proven incapable of introspection as per her election loss.) The big lie was not simply to save face, it was, in the realm of this particular psycho-pathology, another win-win, whereby the Democrats were to be psychologically conditioned to accept a Ukraine proxy war against Russia with enthusiasm, and it worked. It's unveiling on the morn of Hillary's election loss showed the neliberal/neocon cabal were going to get their Cold War 2.0 reset come hell or high water, warmongering as pathology at the apotheosis of propagandizing the masses revealed itself. The big lie is weaponized internationally and domestically by design. U2 conditioned receptivity to the big lie in the DNC faithful, gulled with absolute brand trust and a staged equivocation that substituted a false emotional religious experience deliberately attached to DNC national ideology in the vein of American exceptionalism. 

In the US, we are now subject to the neoliberal Ministry of Truth enshrining their lies in terms of Russiagate (the Steele Dossier, also a UK deception spawn) and election manipulation through online censorship (the blanket censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop "story" by both big tech and the MSM in the last heat of election 2020, which was fact).

It's high time to register the broader nature of the lies incentivized with attempted enshrinement in order to enable these whoppers to fly. The US neoliberal/neocon cabal was willing to enable this climate in Canada (by protecting a Nazi descendent in Canadian cabinet with the Russian disinformation threat making examination of her verboten) in order to furnish a reset on their ability to commit a prolonged proxy war in Ukraine/the Eastern Bloc. So long as it aids US global supremacy it's worth the moral price of cultural distortion exacted in blood, meaning this is the cultural climate necessitated in the US's closest ally (hinterland exploit) to carry this off. 

I don't bandy the term betrayal lightly. The worst slight is that Bono fed this gogshite to unsuspecting Canadians, who had zero clue (according to this report, which I still haven't had adequate time to crack and research yet) that U2 was endorsing a Nazi descendent who cut her journalistic teeth on Holocaust revisionism under the oversight of her Nazi grandpappy's Nazi boss (just as Canadians were equally clueless as to who/what was stirring the swamp in the '80s/'90's). Soft power with stunning results! U2 have a lot to answer for, broader ignorance of the world they're far too busy fellating the American psyche for American dollars to be aware of for a start, just as this subject being verboten in Canada, thanks to US foreign policy geared towards a proxy war sacrificing Ukraine, has a lot to answer for. 

PS: When Jordan Peterson boils this down to being rooted in the child psychology of the ungrown unmatured adolescent who's reduced one's self to acting merely as a vessel to parental paradigms, he's not off target, because part of being one in a position of power (PM) means one will far too easily assimilate the ideological ghosts already sublimating another, as both being unmature means they are both vessels that are easy to subject. It's just a more pertinent question where Freeland's concerned given her heritage and the assimilated national Nazi heritage in Canada personally backing her up, which the PM literally has to bow and scrape to now for votes.
